Sarah Palin's Greatest Hits

palin_abc_070709_89856.JPG
Attempting the political equivalent of relaunching the Hindenburg, soon-to-be former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin hosted ABC, Fox News, CNN, Time, the AP and other media outlets while fishing Tuesday. But even as she proclaimed of her abrupt resignation, "politically speaking, if I die, I die," Palin reminded Americans once again why she so deserves that fate.

By claiming the nonexistent "Department of Law" in Washington would protect her from the kind of ethics woes she encountered in Alaska, Palin demonstrated her continuing ignorance of American government and public policy alike. Of course, it's far from the first time.

Here, then, is a look back at Sarah Palin's Greatest Hits:

"I think on a national level, your department of law there in the White House would look at some of the things that we've been charged with and automatically throw them out." (July 7, 2009.)

"It's all for Alaska." (Asked by Time why she resigned, July 7, 2009).

"In what respect, Charlie?" (Asked by ABC's Charles Gibson if she agreed with the Bush Doctrine, September 11, 2008.)

"Let me speak specifically about a credential that I do bring to this table, Charlie, and that's with the energy independence that I've been working on for these years as the governor of this state that produces nearly 20 percent of the U.S. domestic supply of energy..." (Misunderstanding Alaska's 3.5% share of U.S. domestic energy production, September 11, 2008.)

"We believe that the best of America is in these small towns that we get to visit, and in these wonderful little pockets of what I call the real America." (October 16, 2008.)

"A task that is from God." (On the war in Iraq, June 8, 2008.)

"I think God's will has to be done, in unifying people and companies to get that gas line built, so pray for that." (June 8, 2008.)

"To me, it motivates us, makes us work that much harder. And it also strengthens my faith, because I'm going to know, at the end of the day, putting this in God's hands, that the right thing for America will be done at the end of the day on Nov. 4. So I'm not discouraged at all." (Asked if she was discouraged by polls showing the McCain-Palin ticket trailing, October 22, 2008.)

"As for that VP talk all the time, I'll tell you, I still can't answer that question until somebody answers for me what is it exactly that the VP does every day?" (August 1, 2008.)

"That's something that Piper would ask me!...[T]hey're in charge of the U.S. Senate so if they want to they can really get in there with the senators and make a lot of good policy changes that will make life better for Brandon and his family and his classroom." (asked by third grader Brandon Garcia what the Vice President does, October 20, 2008.)

"Um, all of them, any of them that have been in front of me over all these years." (Asked by CBS' Katie Couric what newspapers and magazines she reads, September 30, 2008.)

"They're our next door neighbors and you can actually see Russia from land here in Alaska, from an island in Alaska." (Asked by ABC's Charles Gibson "what insight into Russian actions" the proximity of Alaska provides her, September 11, 2008.)

"Well, it certainly does, because our, our next-door neighbors are foreign countries, there in the state that I am the executive of... We have trade missions back and forth, we do. It's very important when you consider even national security issues with Russia. As Putin rears his head and comes into the air space of the United States of America, where do they go? It's Alaska. It's just right over the border. It is from Alaska that we send those out to make sure that an eye is being kept on this very powerful nation, Russia, because they are right there, they are right next to our state." (Asked by CBS' Katie Couric to explain her foreign policy credentials, especially regarding Russia, September 25, 2008.)

"John McCain and I, we love you and thank you for spending a few minutes to talk to me." (Talking with Canadian radio prankster posing as French Presideny Nicolas Sarkozy, November 1, 2008.)

"I'll try to find you some and I'll bring them to you." (Asked by CBS' Katie Couric to cite "specific examples in his 26 years of [John McCain] pushing for more regulation," September 24, 2008.)

"Well, let's see. There's, of course in the great history of America there have been rulings, that's never going to be absolute consensus by every American. And there are those issues, again, like Roe v. Wade, where I believe are best held on a state level and addressed there. So you know, going through the history of America, there would be others..." (Asked byCBS' Katie Couric what Supreme Court decisions besides Roe v. Wade she disagrees with, October 1, 2008.)

"Fair or unfair, I think she does herself a disservice to even mention it...When I hear a statement like that coming from a woman candidate with any kind of perceived whine about that excess criticism or, you know, maybe a sharper microscope put on her, I think, man, that doesn't do us any good. Women in politics, women in general wanting to progress this country. I don't think it's, it bodes well for her -- a statement like that...It bothers me a little bit hearing her bring that attention to herself on that level." (On Hillary Clinton's complaints about her treatment by the media, March 2008.)

"How sad that Washington and the media will never understand; it's about country. And though it's honorable for countless others to leave their positions for a higher calling and without finishing a term, of course we know by now, for some reason a different standard applies for the decisions I make." (July 4, 2009.)

"I want to make sure that Americans do understand that there is a little bit of disappointment in my heart about the world of journalism today...And I don't want any individual journalist to take it personally but--I have such great respect for the role of the media in our democracy, it is a cornerstone, it allows the checks and balances. But only when there is fairness and objectivity in the reporting." (November 5, 2008.)

"For the most part, absolutely, media persons, reporters, have been absolutely right on and there has been fairness and objectivity. There have been some stinkers, though, who have kind of made the whole basket full of apples, once in a while, smell kind of bad." (November 7. 2008.)

"If [the media] convince enough voters that that is negative campaigning, for me to call Barack Obama out on his associations, then I don't know what the future of our country would be in terms of First Amendment rights and our ability to ask questions without fear of attacks by the mainstream media." (Misunderstanding the First Amendment, October 31, 2008.)

"I respect Carrie [Prejean] for standing strong and staying true to herself, and for not letting those who disagree with her deny her protection under the nation's First Amendment Rights." (Misunderstanding the First Amendment again, May 13, 2009.)

"Letterman certainly has the right to 'joke' about whatever he wants to, and thankfully we have the right to express our reaction. This is all thanks to our U.S. Military women and men putting their lives on the line for us to secure America's Right to Free Speech - in this case, may that right be used to promote equality and respect." (Still misunderstanding the First Amendment, June 16, 2009.)

"This is to provide notice to Ms. Moore, and those who re-publish the defamation, such as Huffington Post, MSNBC, the New York Times and The Washington Post, that the Palins will not allow them to propagate defamatory material without answering to this in a court of law." (Not understanding the First Amendment via lawyer Thomas Van Flein, July 4, 2009.)

"This is not a man who sees America as you see it and how I see America...Our opponent though, is someone who sees America it seems as being so imperfect that he's palling around with terrorists who would target their own country." (On Barack Obama, October 4, 2008.)

"There's no question that Bill Ayers via his own admittance was one who sought to destroy our U.S. Capitol and our Pentagon. That is a domestic terrorist. There's no question there. Now, others who would want to engage in harming innocent Americans or facilities that uh, it would be unacceptable. I don't know if you're going to use the word terrorist there." (Asked by NBC's Brian Williams, "Is an abortion clinic bomber a terrorist?" October 23, 2008.)

"I guess a small-town mayor is sort of like a community organizer, except that you have actual responsibilities." (September 3, 2008.)

"God bless Barack Obama and his beautiful family." (November 5, 2008.)

"I say God bless George W. Bush." (November 13, 2008.)

And Clinton's was finished 9 years ago, yet all through the last 8 years whenever anything went wrong, "Clinton's fault."

That and doubling a 200 something year old debt in just 8 years, after promising to eliminate it entirely, policies favoring the top 5% over the other 95%, inequities in the financial system, helping to cause the S&L collapse, arming Saddam Hussein in his eight year war against the Ayatolloh Ruhollah Khomeini...

In fact, before him, whenever a president nominated a new justice for the Supreme Court, they would create a list and send it to the Senate, the Senate would sign-off on the ones they liked and send it back, and the president would appoint on that basis, so often a hearing would be just a formality. That is unless of course he really wanted someone in particular, that the senate didn't approve of on the list.

Starting with reagan, a litmus test was applied, and lists as the one I described was no longer used, and haven't since then.

media system could someone this ignorant have advanced so close to so much power.

Good job, John. Way to go with those checks and balances, eh.

when I think over 58 million Americans thought this person was qualified to be the vice president of this great nation of ours... it is hard not to shudder.

and they vote. frightening.

Alaska has a department of law

in the Bureau of Failure

If Sarah's husband, Scrotum had shot Cmdr. McHale, then Annie Oakley would've been crowned Queen of the Snow Castle.

It will be hard to top, "I'm a fighter, not a quitter. So I am resigning as Governor."

"Can I call ya Joe, cuz I gotta coupla zingers where I call ya Joe." (Tina Fey as Sarah Palin at the VP Debates)

I love that one, Sooth Hussein!

has stopped dead still and the only thing happening is Michaels funeral and Palins idiocy. Let's please get back to real life and bury both for good. One with dirt and the other with anonymity.

I'm still trying to figure out who's who and what's what in the Xinjiang town of Uighurs in the town of Urumqi.

What a bullshitting twit! If she teaches her children the same way she makes aggressive public statements, they've got to be the most misinformed kids in existence.

Two children dropped out of high school. I don't think Todd graduated from high school either, for that matter. Palin quit how many colleges before actually graduating?

I read she attended five colleges to get her degree. Wonder what her grades were...

Anyway, what I meant is how she might respond to the average questions a kid might ask:

Why's the sky blue?
God made it that way.

If we went high enough in the sky, would we find heaven?
Yes.

Is there a McDonald's in heaven?
Yes.

Why is hell dark if they have fires?
Those fires don't have any light.

If a bald person works as a chef at a restaurant, do they have to wear a hairnet?
Yes.

ETC.

people, unburdened by knowledge.

or humility for that fact.

I thoroughly enjoyed that! "I just cut a check to her for 400,000 euros! That money was going to be used to fix my niece's nose!"

Sheer comedic gold.

Breaking: Sarah Palin hastily announces her own 'Memorial' to take place today at Wasilla Sports Complex http://tpmcafe.talkingpointsmemo.com/talk/blo...

The sad thing is, she probably wishes she had thought of this. "Hell Yeah!"

In Alaska, they get their entertaining underwear from Nanook of Anchorage.

But

baby seal fur panties don't turn me on.

lol

When I was just out of college I had the opportunity for a couple of years to work with the disabled and the mentally challenged, and for them I will always have a soft spot in my heart.

Palin is quickly approaching a figure that seems in need of sympathy. Something is seriously wrong with her brain.

The only way a persecutionist like Palin can finally realize her negative social effect is to hit rock bottom. Until then she'll keep blaming everyone but herself for her obvious shortcomings.

Palin's that yelling, screaming, obnoxious child at the grocery store everyone standing in checkout prays that her mother slaps the shit out of her.

See my post below. The woman needs some professional help and fast. I suspect she's not getting it because any real therapist would demand that she get out of the public spotlight immediately for her own sake. The fact that she continues to grant major media interviews is an indication that she's not getting the kind of help she so desperately needs.

I think she just has a low IQ (80-100, maybe?) and a high degree of aggressive narcissism, a rather awful combination.

Without the narcissism, maybe she'd deserve some sympathy for trying to play in the big leagues where she just couldn't compete, but add it to the stew, and there's real trouble that has to be controlled for everybody's good, including hers.

I've met that combo before and you're right, it's an awful combination. It can even be deadly. If I were her therapist, I'd have her on a suicide watch. No kidding.

No kidding.

when the number referring to your age is higher than the number referring to your IQ

anyone this ignorant deserves ANY space or time on the internet is beyond me........watching paint dry would be more educational...

On weed even watching paint dry is entertaining.

And watching an ant climb up near your window and imagine it's King Kong on the Empire State Building with Faye Wray in his mitts.

"..watching paint dry would be more educational..."

..and more interesting than watching soccer.

(Outrage from soccer fans begins in 3......2......1....)

I mean, if you want the highs in boredom, how could you beat it?

Sarah Palin Breaks Wind.

I actually feel bad for the woman. She should just come out and say she was exposed. Being picked for the VP job exposed the facts that she hasn't the capacity or ever will to lead a nation let alone the tiny population of Alaska. She claims she was treated bad by the media. She wasn't treated any worse than anyone else. She just wasn't smart enough to answer the questions. For the Matlin's who come out and say this isn't over they're only protecting their own journalistic failures. Palin will never run for a political office again. She doesn't have the skin for it. She'll raise money and a lot of it, but she knows she's done. She can and will make millions from idiots writing a book and going on speaking tours. I don;t think even her ego will get her to run again. All I can say is, thank god.

She was the case study for "doesn't know what she doesn't know".

Palin & Prejean !

Ever since McCain brought Sarah Palin from Alaska to the lower 48, she has been in the news weekly.

...and McHale's Navy, ain't.

or "Babble Spice" ?

"The Thing That Wouldn't Leave"

actually she sorta shatters it.

Constantly.

Christianity Today Poll

What is your overall opinion of Sarah Palin?

In the previous poll we find that only 3% of Christians took their guns to church to celebrate the 4th of July.

She has provided us with so many laughs over the last few months. I guess we'll have to do with Michelle Bachmann.

Bachmann=Comedy gold. Can't wait.

made it unamerican to have this much fun with dickassed republican bimbos.

In an effort to shield herself and her family from the "gotcha" main stream media she goes on a fishing expedition in clearly brand new waders and invites all of the "gotcha" main stream media to attend the event.

I'm sorry, but what a hypocritic bitch. Yeah, I said it.

PS

I hope the Department of Law arrests her for....something. They can do that right?

Like Dubya, Palin wants to control the story...she'll only allow interview access to those who'll kiss her ass.

... is because of her physical looks. If she looked like Susan Boyle, she'd be long forgotten already. It's the ONLY thing she has going for her. And at times the mask looks as though it's slipping. Age will catch up with her with a vengeance.

Pulchritudinous Palin. Not quite bumper-sticker material, but ...

The amount and intensity of the attacks on virtually everything about Palin is really a reflection of the fear that the liberals have of her.

Sarah Palin has hit a nerve of the liberals who despise what she stands for. They claim that she is incapable of office and never could win the Presidency, much less the nomination in 2012.

If this were true, the liberals would simply ignore her; the reality is they fear her. This is because she stands for decency, is a working woman who puts family first, is a Christian, and is a model of REAL America - the America that has been lost to us from the radical liberal element.

She represents all that the liberals hate - Openly speaking her mind, uncompromising loyalty and love of her country, a loving family, a woman who is one of the 50 governors yet is not a screeching feminist, a sincere Christian model, and from a simple and non-elitest background, much like the ideal politician that our Founders envisoned.

I sincerely wish the best for her. She will be an excellent model for two reasons:

1. Sarah Palin's values, her clean and wholesome appearance and attitude, and her unapologetic love of country.

2. Sarah Palin will expose the ugliness of liberals as they become more and more hysterical from fear.

but we are afraid of people like you who think she's qualified to be within 50 miles of Washington DC.

Wake up.

Read my post again. Did I write that she is qualified to be in D.C.?

You liberals are hysterical with fear. So much so that they give knee-jerk responses like you just did.

It's Murdoch's parrot!

The over-the-top portrayal of a blind devotee is spot on, in a way that that has me LMAO! :D

Well done!

You can only attack at a personal level. You have learned to parrot the liberalspeak quite well. At least you have a good memory for Liberal Tactics 101.

So

She doesn't know what the Bush Doctrine was and you think she's qualified to be VP or Prez?
She calls the Department of Justice, The Department of Law?
And you think she's qualified for higher office?
Actually, it's like a car wreck. Everyone rubber necks to see what happened.
And in her case, being in the national spotlight.
You'd think that she would be up to speed on things like the Bush Doctrine. You know, since it started a couple of wars.
One which was illegal. I'll get flack for not saying both of them.
But that's just my opinion.

Oh, one more thing. Calling people cowards will get you some very nice reactions from people. And this coming from someone who's been coming here for 1 minute.

And

She can't remember any landmark legal decisions coming from the Supreme Court.

Landmark legal decisions? She couldn't pull one single case out of her ass.

Landmark or otherwise.

Get lost. We don't have time to listen to your delusional garbage. If you really believe what you are saying, check yourself into a psych ward right away. We don't need any more fools like you out on the streets.

Yeah, Mish..... err, Bristol!

That's great! stay in character!

:P

Champagne tastes donchaknow.

Yep

Another dupe of the Collective bites the dust.

Puts her family first? You mean by parading them around like props?

Geez......I don't even know where to with start you. I think you should seek medical attention immediately.

I don't mean to be mean, but that was probably one of the most stomach churning posts I have read in a while.

... stupid and ignorant you sound?

I've never been "hysterical with fear."

I have, however, been utterly aghast that anybody with an IQ above room temperature could take this lipsticked mediocrity seriously.

You should look up the phrase "malignant narcissist." It fits your screeching Sarah to a T.

BID

I will try to make the point once more; I see it flew over the heads of the posters.

If, as you say, Sarah Palin is dumb, incompetent, and uninformed, she should not be newsworthy at all, now....should she?

Yet...She has liberals foaming at the mouth. The very sound of her name draws the extremists out for a feeding frenzy. Now, why is that? I do not see McCain drawing any attention, even though he has made numerous statements as an experienced Senator.

Sarah Palin may not ever be presidential or vice-presidential material, but she does remind Americans of the type of people they want this country to be about. She represents the middle America - the land of people who put their family first, go to church, wave the flag, want "In God We Trust" on our coins, and even carry and use guns.

You liberals despise and fear this. These are the people who will bring down the liberals in time, and you are already seeing it coming. I believe Palin will travel in America, telling people what the liberal agenda is really all about - It hates what America stands for; it hates old-fashioned American values.

For this, I salute her.

Made a fortune off of people like her.
Granted, she doesn't look like a freak.
But as far as politics goes. She sure as hell is one.

She is a train wreck that we just can't stop watching. That's all.

You are demonstrating the sickness of the left.

You are an imitation of B. Hussein Obama's disparaging of the core of REAL America, "Clnging to their bibles and guns."

Anti-Americanism if I have ever seen it. Foul.

All you do is flamebait.
You can't address any of the issues surrounding her.

The issue is quite simple, and I will reply by asking you a question:

Don't you think it is quite unusual for a vice-presidential candidate who lost, and an obscure person from a less important state at that, to get so much negative attention? I hope you will agree that it is incredibly intense; I do not remember the children of even Clinton or Bush getting so many attacks.

How does one account for all of this, well after the end of the election?

She quit. She keeps sticking her foot in her mouth.
And I suppose you think HRC was treated fairly?

Again, I ask the simple question: Why is Palin being attacked so much, so often, and with such intensity? I doubt that the posters here care about the Republican party or Alaska. The intensity of the attacks is incredible and rentless, even after the election is over...8 months ago?

What nerve is Palin hitting that brings this out? If she is so dumb and inept, why all of these fierce attacks?

As far as being qualified, I have not yet seen enough of her to say either way. I will wait to reserve judgment. However, I will say that I hope she becomes well qualified.

Into the spotlight when she agreed to run for VP.
Stop wasting my time with your obtuse responses.

VP

Name any other VP who lost the election and continued to stay in the spotlight in such a negative fashion.

You have not answered the question, or maybe you do not know the answer. I will ask it in two steps:

1. Would you agree that she is getting a tremendous number of negative hits by those who are not conservatives or Republicans?

2. How can you account for the amount and intensity?

Were smart enough to stay out of the spotlight.
Name one who didn't?

former VP Cheney.
It's an unwritten rule in politics. Lose, disappear for awhile.
I can't help it if she's not smart enough, or dignified enough to disappear for awhile.

Palin was in the stoplight BEFORE she announced her resignation, remember? That jerk comedian and Vanity Fair, among other things? Remember?

Why was that?

You still have not answered my question.

Yes, Cheney is in the spotlight. He WAS a VP for 8 years, now, wasn't he?

Former VP who's done what Cheney has done?

Palin gets exactly what she deserves for her self centered incompetence and bald faced ambition. Politics is not a profession for the weak or naive. What it is about is other centered service, not personal gain or aggrandizement.

I doubt if this circus freak soiling our political system will ever see the light and her 15 minutes of fame were up 14 minutes ago.

She needs to go away and stay away.

I ask you the same question: If she is incompetent and just a freak, how can she possibly get such intense attacks?

What nerve is she hitting?

.

Uh, she's the governor of one of these United States and she just quit her job in a tizzy.

That's not news?

The redundancy is getting old.

If you answer the question, it will stop.

{I'm getting tired of your little game. Please contribute something meaningful. SiteMonitor}

Palin was receiving attacks and attention from the liberal press BEFORE she quit.

I am asking a question that has not yet been answered:

Why does she get liberals so angry and intense?

Next question, please. We already answered you. Your problem is that we don't tell you what you want to hear. Go to Redstate if that's what you want.

I got an answer below. The poster thinks that you liberals fear people who would follow her. Do you agree?

...

I fear anyone dumb enough to "follow her". Stupid people can cause incalculable damage, as we've seen in the previous eight years.

To hold higher office.

Then, do you think she may someday have a chance at holding a higher office? Do you think enough people in America might just vote for her someday?

LOL!

...

BAMMMMMM!

Belongs in a psych ward, not politics. She represents a good example of what NOT to be and is little more than a modern day Lyndon La Rouche.

People love to gawk.

This is getting closer, but why the anger and hatred and intensity of attacks?

Do you have a problem with reading comprehension Mishima, or are you like a broken record just repeating the same drivel over and over? Does your memory chip need a reboot?

I repeat myself because I am not getting an answer. Can't you read?

You still haven't answered my question.
Why is that?

Shiny objects.
But please do try to say something resembling something intelligent.

Tue, 07/07/2009 - 20:43 — Mishima

OK this s parody guy, pretending to be clueless.

What a RIOT!!!

)O(

Your question is as offensive as the lowest common denominator she's trying to reduce polity to.

)O(

It would stop if she would just go away from the limelight.

Most former vp candidates do, and then try to reconfigure the public persona and political stances in an attempt at future office.

Because she's AGGRESSIVELY stupid.

And you don't have to SEE $arah Palin any more to decide whether or not she's qualified: look at her resume, read up on each and every job she's had since she graduated from that 5th college, the U of Idaho.

She's quit each and every one, including even the business she'd planned on starting up, a entrepreneural venture called "Rouge Cou". All of them, "Oops! Too much work, I'm outa here".

What makes you think she's going to change? Quitting on the people of Alaska doesn't bode well.

Here's mine:
Why do you think she's qualified?

LOL

You obviously haven't been paying very close attention to what's been going on in the Last 40 years.
Your ignorance is really astounding.

Okay people, might as well let this one go. It is clearly not healthy.

Mishma, get help. You really need it.

At that rally when that jerk yelled out KILL HIM!
She didn't say a word. Not a peep. She didn't even flinch.
Talk about hate. sheeesh.

Seems like you are a Palin expert. There are more on the left, like you, than in middle America or anywhere else.

Why is this? Why aren't you honest?

Your little freak show is over. You got nuthin. And you know it.

Good questions to be asking yourself, Mishima. Be sure to collect your .80 from the RNC for your posts here tonight, comrade. The collective thanks you for your work and is grateful that these are naive sheep like you out there they can fleece.

include NOT invading sovereign nations for oil; recognizing that the Founding Fathers (who WEREN'T all Christians) wanted SEPARATION of church and state; providing for the GENERAL WELFARE; helping people less fortunate than ourselves; preserving our precious natural environment; enacting legislation to protect us against rogue disaster capitalism (read Naomi Klein); ensuring that all Americans have access to at least basic healthcare; guaranteeing equal rights to individuals of all races and creeds and sexual orientation; and all manner of other positive, liberal and progressive initiatives.

Your mindless stereotyping is quite indicative of the unhinged reich wing in this bruised and battered country. Everything good and salubrious in the U.S. came about because of enlightened liberal legislation, not mossbacked regressive conservatism.

Suck on it.

BID

Yes, the conservatives do want separation of church and state, unlike liberals, but like the Founders who were mostly Christians, despite what Howard Zinn, Charley Beard and William Ayers say.

Please do not start with the liberal mantra of "helping people"; it is quite unseemly and meaningless.

Your rebuttals are either worthlessly hilarious or you're too stupid to see that your comments verify Palins unquestioned appeal to the criminally insane. We don't fear Palin...just her psychotic, violent disciples(you).

Gotta go...us liberals work for a living.

BTW, Mishima is a two hour troll. Someone at the mental health center evidently forgot to turn off their computer.

Typical liberal tactic of attacking the person.

This is the best answer so far: You do fear those whom you see as her "followers."

Go flamebait somebody else's website before you get banned here.

See, I don't need anti-hallucinogens to sleep.

Nothing flew over my head that you said.

Sarah Paliban is not representative of American women and she's NOT, "the type of people they want this country to be about."

I don't think most Americans have your bumpersticker mentality in little slogans, either.

"Libs" love her. She's Dan Quayle with tits!

?

Her clean and wholesome appearance?
I see you have standards not really fixated on real qualifications.

and she's made a lifetime of mistakes and bloopers.

She's an idiot, which is why the wingnuts can relate to her.

Only my hard work solved my problems.

I thought Bush is out of office.
I wouldn't survive anymore Bushlike bullshit!

If that's what the Palin devotees are like.Oyyy....

Since the election. You'd think she would have gotten a bit more focused.
But NOPE! She decides to leave the people of Alaska in a lurch.
She cut and run, cause the grass is greener on the other side.
She's quitting to make more money. That's how much she respects the people of Alaska.

When the going gets tough---quit. There's a fine leadership example for you.

Can you believe it?

Over at Kos they hit one out of the park:

Palin Can't Quit Quitting
by DavidNYC
Tue Jul 07, 2009 at 07:10:05 PM PDT

Crisitunity makes a good - and largely overlooked - point about Sarah Palin's sticktoitiveness:

Sarah Palin did have a job in between being mayor of Wasilla and Alaska Governor: she was chair of Frank Murkowski's Oil and Gas Commission. How long was she on this Commission? Less than a year... until she quit in January 2004 with a big public huff (leaving the Commission in the lurch with only one member), saying "the experience was taking the 'oomph' out of her passion for government service and she decided to quit rather than becoming bitter." She publicly cited her frustration with being unable to be all straight-talky and mavericky about the corruption and backbiting on the Commission, but the resignation also came at a very convenient time for switching over to lay the groundwork for her successful 2006 gubernatorial run.

Don't forget that she also quit four different colleges en route to getting a degree in journalism. It seems that the one lesson Sarah Palin's learned her whole life is that quitters always win.

.

Alas, poor Sarah will always be coming in second.

The only reason I can see for anyone to support her run for the top office in the country.

I read these posts and noticed a series of attacks on virtually every aspect of Palin's ability, character and intelligence. In addition, everyone was agreeing and adding insults and apparently enjoying this.

It seems rather odd to me, unless.... Unless there is something more to her.

So far, it seems that some people here think that her followers are the real problem. A comment was made about her in office.

It seems to me that the underlying reason for all of these attacks is not because of Palin's apparent lack of perceived ability per se; rather, it is the concern that she actually may, someday, get into the White House.

Is this a concern? If so, does that mean that you think there are enough Americans who might vote her in some day?

Are the media attacks a method of trying to insure that this DOES NOT happen?

Palin a credible candidate for President? Of what country? Bolivia? Not the USA, buster. As we have told you about 30 times already, Palin is an incompetent narcissist that isn't in politics to serve the public, she is in it to serve her ruthless ambition and delusions of grandeur.

Stop acting so obtuse and get a clue.

I sincerely would like a response to the questions that I asked. You are changing and distorting what I wrote. I did not say that she was a credible candidate; I asked it there is concern that she might get into the White House, competent or not. And, I wondered if this may be one of the underlying reasons that these attacks are so intense, keeping in mind that they have been going on since the election and before she resigned.

It sounds like you think she would never have a chance. Is this what you are saying?

The question is a simple and direct one.

.

a series of attacks on virtually every aspect of Palin's ability, character and intelligence.

Perhaps it's because they question her ability, character and intelligence.

And no, she doesn't stand a chance. Nobody's askeert of her, most would relish her run for President in '12, I know I would. Better than my teevee stories.

I've already answered your questions and don't have time to suffer fools like you gladly. The real problem is that we're not telling you what you want to hear. Too bad for you, mister, because it's time for you to stop being so obtuse and stubborn and connect with reality.

That's my response, pal. Now deal with it. Simple and direct, isn't it? if you can't, get over to Redstate and hang with your other victim and martyr homies.

...

Sadly, the obtuseness is no act.

Why are you so intense and angry? What do you fear about the comments?

I do not fear the comments; there is nothing to fear. I am trying to understand and get some honesty. I find them annoying. It is like a little liberal get together in which everyone agrees with one another and can say any absurd thing. Someone comes along and asks some thought-provoking questions, and.... well... you see the responses.

If this is what you call thought provoking?
nevermind. ISP!

Mud

You really are an idiot. You just want agreement and cannot understand anything that does not neatly dovetail into your myopic worldview.

Sad, sad.

LOL

You have done nothing but flame.
You haven't made one point. You haven't been able to defend her in any which way.
Sorry, but you've been out classed by every single person here. Now, I know you'll say some thing stupid. That's to be expected.
Care to say something anywhere close to an IQ of 40?
Don't strain yourself. We understand.

Gotcha asshat.:)

Get lost Mishima before you get banned for your blatant idiocy. Post your insipid trash at someone else's website.

logic, anyone who is negative about Palin fears her, and you are certainly negative about the comments so you also must fear them. Are you afraid she won't be President some day and bring back those good old American values? Is that why you are so intense and fearful and full of hate?
