I suppose no one should be surprised that this guy is running for Michele Bachmann's soon to be vacated seat in Minnesota's 6th district. Tom Emmer very nearly became Governor in 2010, and is now a lobbyist, and cohosts a truly odious morning talk radio program with Bob Davis on KTCN in Minneapolis, made infamous by their admonishing the families of Sandy Hook to "go to hell".

Says Sally Jo: “Has Tom Emmer scored the ultimate product placement for his congressional campaign by appearing in a testimonial ad for a Twin Cities general contractor? Or does the ad skirt campaign funding regulations? … The ad may raise eyebrows -- if not legal questions -- because Emmer introduces the testimonial ad as a candidate running for congress, while standing before a yard sign.
