Bigoted GOP Congressman: It's 'bizarre' that Obama's oath-swearing will include his middle name

It was really hard to excerpt the original Politico article this story came from, simply because it was filled with so much damn stupid. Apparently Rep. Steve King thinks it's "bizarre" for President-elect Obama to use his full name during the swearing-in ceremony, presumably because his middle name is "Hussein" rather than some good ol' American name like "Arnold."
He doesn’t like the fact that the president-elect will be sworn in using that middle name during Tuesday’s Inauguration.After telling the Associated Press last year that Obama’s middle name was among the reasons Islamic terrorists would rejoice over his election, King says he’s since been careful to avoid using it. Thus he found Obama’s decision to allow it be mentioned on the steps of the Capitol “bizarre” and “a double-standard.”
“Is that reserved just for him, not his critics?” King asked.
How can someone this oblivious/dumb/racist (take your pick) get elected to Congress? The problem is not saying Barack Hussein Obama --the problem is when you stress Hussein and use it to imply that, because of his name, he is somehow un-American. I know wingnuts like to pretend that that's not their intention, but come on. We saw it over and over and over during the campaign.

Actually after the 2006 and 2008 elections, there are a lot fewer raving bark-at-the-moon loonies in Congress. I used to get depressed by all the crazies that were elected from states populated by people who should have known better. Now Steve King, Michele Bachmann, Jean Schmidt and a few others are all that are left - outside of the South, that is. There are definitely still too many, but thank God that it's not like it was a few years back when the bastards were all over the country.
These 'elected officials' should be psychologically certified and physically tested before, during, and after their tenure. They knowingly drove, assisted the driving, or didn't care if the country was driven into a depression. As the world collapses around them they contemplate matters and directions that are totally alien to most of American society and a good portion of the world.
Yeah, there are all kinds of names and they are getting more diverse all the time.
I think that every time he mentions this we should, as other posters have suggested, Use HIS middle name, Arnold, and mention how he shares that name with the greatest traitor in U.S. history, Benedict Arnold (if we leave out Robert E. Lee.)

It means "the greatest", "the best", or "the most high."
Arabic parents often use it for the first born sons to signify their high expectations for the baby's future success.

The Bush family certainly differentiates between Osama bin Laden and the bin Ladens they flew out of the U.S. shortly after 9/11 -- and they were RELATED to the terrorist. Remember George Walker Bush (not really the President, but I'm just sayin'),William Jefferson Clinton, George Herbert Walker Bush - hey -TWO names there - how DARE he, Ronald Wilson Reagan (yeah, that 666 guy was really scary), James Earl Carter, Gerald Rudolph Ford, Richard Milhouse Nixon, Lyndon Baines Johnson, John Fitzgerald Kennedy, Dwight David Eisenhower and on and on. How the hell would I know all of these names by heart if this nation hasn't regularly used the middle names of Presidents???? Rep. S.
