Cheney Endorses McCain, Obama Unloads

President Bush, on the other hand, has taken Cheney's place in the bunker and plans to stay out of sight for the next three days.
Barack Obama is all over it at a stop in Pueblo, CO.:
I'd like to congratulate Senator McCain on this endorsement because he really earned it. That endorsement didn't come easy. Senator McCain had to vote 90 percent of the time with George Bush and Dick Cheney to get it. He served as Washington's biggest cheerleader for going to war in Iraq, and supports economic policies that are no different from the last eight years. So Senator McCain worked hard to get Dick Cheney's support.
But here's my question for you, Colorado: Do you think Dick Cheney is delighted to support John McCain because he thinks John McCain's going to bring change? Do you think John McCain and Dick Cheney have been talking about how to shake things up, and get rid of the lobbyists and the old boys club in Washington?

This is so scary he should have made his statement on Halloween. I guess he was torn and still trying to decide who to endorse. lol Do you think McSame knew Cheney was going to do this? Obama should cut some of this into his final ads it might put him over in IN and AZ.

Just as Obama's poll numbers are increasing, Dick reminds us all that McCain is really McSame. With an endorsement from a friend like that, who needs enemies? Obama responded quickly, and appropriately.
I'm wondering how long it will take the Obama rapid response team to cut that Cheney endorsement into a TV ad, and run it from now until tuesday? Not long, I hope!
I never understood why they didn't use the picture of "The Hug" the day McSame showed his true colors and sold out to the powers that run the Republicun Presidents.

confirmed. Cheney's endorsement proves my theory, that the election is being thrown as a way to both eliminate McCain and tarnish the Democrats. Occam's razor. Destroy meddlesome McCain. Let Democrats take fall for Iraq/economy. Escape out back with loads of taxpayer money and future powers of executive (which D's won't fully use). Cripple government by draining it, and escape, leaving Obama et al holding bag. Return in 2012 to finish the job. McCain's nomination was the first clue, Palin's the second, this endorsement proves it.

Vice President Cheney is right when he says that John McCain looked into the face of evil. The North Vietnamese fished McCain out of the drink, put him in prison, and tortured him to within an inch of his life.
But Lt. Cmdr. John Sidney McCain III did flinch. His captors got him on-record denouncing himself, his fellow prisoners, the United States of America and its armed forces as war criminals. Now, I don't say that I'm a better person than John McCain or that I wouldn't have done exactly the same thing he did or more if I had been in his situation. But the fact remains that John McCain--under extreme duress--gave aid and comfort to the enemies of this nation.
To say otherwise is to elide the voluminous record documenting his actions.
