La La La, We Can't Hear You! Discovery Channel Won't Show Last Episode Of Climate Change Series
This really makes me furious. Yeah, we all know the corporate media censors content, but this one's pretty crucial, and I resent the fact that political interests have so intimidated the media, they feel compelled to eradicate the truth:
An episode of the BBC's Frozen Planet documentary series that looks at climate change has been scrapped in the U.S., where many are hostile to the idea of global warming.
British viewers will see all seven episodes of the multi-million-pound nature series throughout the Autumn. But U.S. audiences will not be shown the last episode, which looks at the threat posed by man to the natural world. It is feared a show that preaches global warming could upset viewers in the U.S., where around half of people do not believe in climate change.
The series of six episodes has been sold to 30 countries, including China, one of the world's biggest polluters.

If I burn wood in a fireplace, the fireplace heats up. If I keep tossing wood into it, the fire and heat will get so large the fireplace can't contain it.
The planet sheds heat during the night.
If I pump tons of extra heat by burning fuel/wood/whatever heat creation into the atmosphere it has to be shed by the planet at night.
By looking at the fireplace, one can suppose that the earth is also a finite container. If the earth has a "limit" on heat it can transfer at night, we can warm the planet by overheating. If the heat can't escape due to greenhouse gasses helping the sun add more heat, the problem doubles.
Fox and other CONservative sources will report "Record heat wave" and then a few months later sneer "Record snow fall........where is the global warming now???"
We deserve whatever mother nature deals us, since we are too ignorant to open our eyes...........or can't see through the dollar bills............whichever comes first.

Best torrent site on the net, imo. Nothing but British television shows. Very strict seeding rules, so there's not alot of leechers. Great download speeds.
Restricted signups tho. They only allow something like 100,000 members at a time. I knew BBCAmerica edited 'profanity' when they broadcast UK shows but had no idea we now had to edit science out for ignorant, american audiences.Fortunately I've been watching these as they've been broadcast in the UK as the episodes are available on the InterWebs in stunning 720p/1080i (sometimes) about an hour after they are broadcast on telly there.It's come to this? A few other interesting bits about European media vs. ours:
- Documentary films that win awards like The Corporation, Taxi To the Dark Side, etc, are released here as 'limited theatrical release' but are actually originally broadcast on European television. This is a great way to thin out the viewing audience here in the States, thus limiting ACTUAL investigative information.
- Ever hear of the movie 'Girl With The Dragon Tattoo'? While the english-remake is on it's way to theatres the original 'movie' was actually done for Swedish television, as well as the two subsequent followup movies/books. If anyone's seen the Swedish film imagine that being broadcast on ABC or whatever here in the States, people would riot.
- Many, many recent new shows here in the States are remakes of current British shows (as was the wave of reality television) showing we have few, original ideas left. In some cases, like the US version of 'Skins', shows that received BAFTA and similar awards in the UK for content are derided as 'child porn' here in the States.
Indeed the theocrats are on the rise. A bunch of hyprocrites at that.

Ice boxes used to have blocks of ice in them becasue the ice kept the ice boxes cold. We now put ice packs in our coolers becasue the ice packs keep the coolers cooler than they would be without the ice packs.
Polar ice caps are cold, glaciers are cold,snow capped mountains are cold. They keep the earth a lot cooler than the earth will be when they have all melted. They are huge free air conditioners.
We are losing our free earth wide air conditioning, and ice packs. After all the ice is gone it will be really really hot. Our plants will wither, and so will we.
