Friday's Bushed! segment on Countdown takes us first to the National Intelligence Estimate. The last NIE on Iran brought about so much controversy that the Bush administration is now threatening to keep the upcoming Iraq report private. Improperly fired U.S. Attorney, David Iglesias writes in his new book, In Justice, that he was told by another U.S.A. that his firing was, in fact, politically motivated and that he should just get out. The segment ends with Homeland Security Secretary, Michael Chertoff, for bringing ten white men to appear before the House Judiciary Committee to answer questions about his department's lack of gender and ethnic diversity. Wow.
