These guys rose to prominence in the late '90s with this song, "Flagpole Sitta," the cynical lyrics of which made it a standout track on their first album. The clever lyric is complimented by a pretty straightforward rock arrangement. However, it does a pretty good job of helping to deliver the message of 90s societal frustration that parodies the music of their angst-ridden contemporaries. This gives the song the charm and wit that keeps it fresh to this day.
