Back in the '90s, Ben Vaughn had a crazy idea. That idea was to record an entire album in his car.

The album, entitled '65 Rambler, was recorded in, you guessed it, a '65 Rambler American. Doesn't sound too bad, right? Sounds like a pretty well-produced garage band if anything. Anyway, its an interesting concept and it even allowed for him to utilize just about every single part of his car. In the end, it's a testament to the ingenuity and innovative spirit that this guy had in an age where recording out of a studio was difficult enough. Be sure to check out the whole album in the Amazon link if you're curious to see how the rest of the album turned out.
