It's definitely interesting, to say the least. The music and accompanying video might be disturbing, but to me it's got a sort of charm. It's unfortunate that stuff like this gets crushed beneath waves of pop music, but this one did pretty well. But it was the '80s, the last bastion of the traditional recording industry before it started changing drastically, and this guy managed to produce a music video as well as an entire album along with this tune. Admittedly, it's pretty strange stuff, but at least it's different and memorable. You can't really tell if he's being experimental or just plain goofy, which is really where the beauty of this song lies.
