C&L's Late Nite Music Club With St. Vincent

It's been fairly recent since she's been on the music club, but the lady has been busy and has released a new single.

This single, however, is not being released ahead of a new album, unfortunately. Rather, it will be released as part of a "repackaging" of her eponymous album that came out early last year. It will be one of four songs on the deluxe version of the album that is set to be released on the 21st of January in the UK and the 9th of February everywhere else on CD. I'm not sure how excited I feel about this, as it seems like a bit of a disservice to fans and supporters of her music that went out and bought the album in 2014. "Deluxe" editions of albums are nothing new, but releasing it only a year later seems a bit like bad form. Especially if there's four new songs, which is almost half an album right there. As a fan who went out and bought an album and saw her live, I'm a bit disappointed, but it should be interesting to hear what material didn't make the final cut of the original album release.

Ever bought a "deluxe" edition of an album? Did it expand as much on the original as you'd hoped?
