Tangerine Dream is probably best known for the ambient, psychedelic soundscapes that accompanied their memorable melodic themes. Stratosfear is a pretty good example of what that sounds like. However, it's not too easy to find something that "defines" their sound, since they were always changing up their style, but this comes fairly close. Froese's contributions to electronic music and work inside and outside of Tangerine Dream will not be forgotten anytime soon.
