In today's edition of "Not A Drag Queen":
Best-selling Christian authors Seth Day and Heather Thompson Day of Texas were arrested following reports that they physically assaulted their high school-aged daughter. Seth Day allegedly physically assaulted their child while Heather concealed the abuse and failed to intervene. Seth Day was also arrested on charges of child sexual abuse, although the victim is not identified.
KTVU is reporting that the case began just over a week ago when a teacher did their job and served as a mandatory reporter when they became aware of potential physical abuse of a student. Investigators with the Keene PD conducted a forensic interview with the victim.
The victim told police that Seth Day "physically abused her out of anger on September 22, 2026, striking her in the face and chest with her cell phone. The attack resulted in visible lacerations and multiple bruises, which were documented by Keene police detectives."
The report also stated that Heather Day "was present during the incident, was aware of the abuse, and chose not to intervene. The victim also reported that Heather was aware of prior injuries, failed to report them, and tried to conceal the abuse by having the victim wear a face mask and telling medical professionals she did not know how the injuries happened."
Roys Report had significantly more details on allegations against these parents from hell. They report that the daughter told police that she had been abused REPEATEDLY in the past and that Texas CPS had investigated. She also stated that the family moved to different homes because of these reports, likely to avoid further CPS investigations.
The affidavit added:
“According to the Department of Family and Protective Services, there have been other reports made that were closed at the state level. The last incident investigated by CPS was on August 8th, 2026.”
Seth Day was charged with Injury to a Child. Heather Day was arrested and charged with Injury to a Child by Omission. Both are third-degree felonies.
The investigation continued, and it was additionally reported that the victim made allegations of sexual abuse. Officers executed a search warrant and located additional evidence. Based on the additional evidence, a new criminal complaint against Seth Day was filed, which charged him with Sexual Assault of a Child, which is a first-degree felony. It is unclear if the victim of sexual abuse is the daughter.
Heather Day is a well-known Christian author and "influencer." Seth Day is an assistant professor at Southwestern Adventist University. He has been placed on administrative leave pending the outcome of the investigation.
SOAU put out a statement following Seth Day's arrest:
"Southwestern Adventist University has been informed that Seth Day, a faculty member of our school, was taken into custody. Mr. Day has been placed on administrative leave. We are fully cooperating with law enforcement. We understand that the current allegations do not involve SWAU students, staff, or other faculty members. The safety of our University community remains our first priority. We will share additional details as appropriate."
Reminder: Neither of these people is a drag queen. They are fake Christians who pretend to be devout influencers.
