NEW YORK – The situation at the Secaucus Junction train station was a mess Sunday afternoon, as fans tried to get to MetLife Stadium for the Super Bowl. By the time the game between Seattle and Denver began, the stadium appeared almost entirely full. So the Secaucus backups did not seem to result in a lot of people missing game action.
But the estimates for how many people would take New Jersey Transit turned out to be way off. So, many fans had awful experiences at Secaucus – and these issues have people wondering if the New York/New Jersey area will ever get another Super Bowl.
