This song is the result of a collaboration between Baba Brinkman and The WILD Foundation, a wilderness conservation organization. Here's some info that they provided about their cause"

Wilderness Conservation organization, The WILD Foundation has paired up with award-winning hip-hop artist, playwright and planter of a million trees, Baba Brinkman, who is best known for his critically acclaimed 'The Rap Guide To...' series. The result, The Rap Guide to Wilderness (available 12/16), promotes public awareness of wilderness and its key services to human health and prosperity, stressing the importance of humans having a relationship with wild nature, not just taking from it. The project creatively addresses important environmental issues such as biodiversity loss, habitat loss, de-extinction and wilderness conservation.

Brinkman debuted material from The Rap Guide to Wilderness, at the IUCN World Parks Congress in Sydney, Australia this November; a once-every-ten-years meeting of 6,000 conservation delegates to consider how to safeguard the planet's natural assets - among them some of the world's top environmental scientists, as well as 30 environment ministers. You can listen to a recent interview that Brinkman had with the Australian Broadcast Company surrounding the IUCN Congress:
