C&L's Late Nite Music Club With Stan Freberg

Radio humorist Stan Freberg passed away this week at the age of 88.

This particular song was a parody of Harry Belafonte's take on a Jamaican folk song about the lives of banana workers. Freberg instead changes it around to tell the tale of a picky bongo player who causes a lot of problems during a recording session. Freberg remained active well into his late 80s, continuing his passion of making people laugh as he did throughout his entire life. R.I.P. Stan.
