The former speaker of the House and avid Trump supporter Newt Gingrich stepped up and defended Hillary Clinton from all the phony diagnosis of her phantom illness (That means you too Sean Hannity) and called it "junk medicine" on Fox and Friends this morning.

Dr. Drew made a medical diagnosis of Hillary Clinton on KABC Radio's "McIntyre in the Morning," which kicked off a new round of health speculation by Steve Doocy, Ainsley Earhardt and Brian Kilmeade. Dr. Drew said he was "gravely concerned" about HRC's health.

When the Fox and Friends trio played a clip of Drew's comments, Gingrich jumped in and said, "Well, I think first of all, just to get down to the human level for a second, all of us ought to include Hillary Clinton in our prayers. You can be opposed to somebody without hoping they have bad health and I hope that she's all right."

Gingrich continued. "Second, I’m always dubious, with all due respect to television doctors, when you have a doctor who has never seen the patient, begin to give you a complicated, fancy sounding analysis based on what? I mean, I would be very cautious and I would recommend to doctors for professional reasons to be very cautious deciding you’re going to start analyzing people. Next you're gonna get a left-wing psychiatrist explaining Donald Trump in negative terms."

Good for Newt.

When Steve Doocy jumped in and defended Trump, "Well they already have that."

Gingrich delivered the knock out blow by stating, "I think we ought to recognize that's kind of junk medicine," Gingrich said. "That’s not the real deal."

Amen!

Ainsley Earhardt tried to keep the lie alive by wondering why the video clip that was used to smear Hillary with disappeared from the website and Newt laughingly replied, "This is true for Trump and Clinton. If you got a page that is causing you trouble, why would you keep it up?"

Conspiracies abound! This is all conservatives supporting Trump have left.

I imagine Eric Bolling will seize on Dr. Drew's words next to keep the smear alive. Concern trolling about Hillary's health is the next Benghazi emails sekrit lesbian baby parts Whitewater Vince Foster Travelgate etc. They just can't stop.
