Donald Trump thinks his best feature is his temperament. But his explanation proved the exact opposite.

In a visit to The O’Reilly Factor tonight, Trump argued that Hillary Clinton's attacks on his temperament are bound to fail because that’s just another of his super awesome traits. Actually, Trump claimed tonight that his temperament is the most awesome part of his unbelievably awesome awesomeness (in his own eyes).

TRUMP: They’re talking about – my strongest thing is my temperament. And they talk about my temperament. They put ten things on a board and they said, “Oh, let’s go after him for temperament.”

It’s my strongest thing according to the people who know me best. I won’t even say it myself. I think, maybe, even if I was going to say it, my temperament is the best. I know how to win.

O’Reilly asked what that means to him.

TRUMP: Well, I know how to win. I know how to win. I’ve been winning. I do win, even in sports. I win. We don’t win. Our country doesn’t win.

This is not the first time Trump has boasted that his temperament is his best asset. But as far as I know, it is the first time that Trump has explained that he thinks that winning equals a fine temperament.

But I’ve got some bad news for Birther Boy: The majority of Americans disagree about his temperament. A recent New York Times/CBS News poll asked if Trump and Clinton have “the right kind of temperament and personality to be a good president.” Only 31% thought Trump does. 55% thought Clinton does. A Fox News poll found 59% think Hillary Clinton has the “temperament to serve effectively as president.” But only 39% think Trump does.

But O’Reilly did not challenge Trump’s latest lying boast.
