The Cubs ended 108 years of frustration to win a historic game seven of the 21016 World Series in extra innings, 8-7
November 2, 2016

It's finally over!

The Cubs have won the World Series, finally ending the curse of the Billy Goat that has haunted the franchise for over a hundred years.

In an epic game seven, Cubs manager Joe Maddon inexplicably did almost everything in his power to blow the game to the resilient Cleveland Indians, but after surrendering a three run lead in the eighth inning - a sudden, but short rain delay prompted the Cubs to score two runs in the tenth inning and they held on to win 8-7.

Congratulations!
