Comedy Central's "The Opposition" covers the Texas Church Shooting by reminding us-- mass shootings are happening every two weeks, but only in America.
November 7, 2017

“Our nation experienced a heartbreaking unparalleled tragedy,” began Jordan Klepper on last night's The Opposition.

But wait. Klepper read the wrong headline.

And again. "History of Domestic Violence"

And again. "Assault Weapon"

And again. "History of Domestic Violence"

And again. "Assault Weapon"

I counted 21 stories before he finally got to this weekend's Texas church shooting.

Of course, this being dark humor and a satirical "InfoWars" takeoff, Klepper makes it about how many newspapers are cluttering his desk, and shouts at his producer: “These are all mass shootings from this year?! This is too much! We need to do something about – this desk! How am I supposed to tell any of these apart?”

“No other desk in the developed world looks like this!!”
