Steve King is embarrassing the Iowans who haven't yet enrolled their kids in the Hitler Youth. Please, Steve, for the sake of those sane people who did not vote for you, give the Nazi salute a rest. At least on Twitter.

You guessed it, once again, King has elevated the voice of a prominent neo-Nazi, this time, British douche Mark Collett. He quote-tweeted Collett in one of his predictably anti-immigrant (read anti-not-white) declarations.

Just so we're clear on what a sweetie Mark Collett is, there's this, via Media Matters:

At the time, we noted that Mark Collett is a former chairman of the youth division of the British National Party (BNP), a far-right political organization in the United Kingdom, who was eventually dismissed from the party and arrested for death threats against its leader, a political rival. Collett has repeatedly collaborated with former Ku Klux Klan leader and radio host David Duke, who has endorsed Collett’s book. Collett once expressed admiration for Adolf Hitler, has said that he considered AIDS a “friendly disease because blacks, drug users and gays have it,” and has referred to asylum seekers as “cockroaches.” Collett also campaigned in support of Brexit with his girlfriend, who has multiple Nazi tattoos.

Isn't that just adorable? It's so clear why Steve King can't resist this guy. Just ooooozes charm and Nazi charisma. This is completely in line with King, of course, who has stated unequivocally that Western civilization is "superior," and who posted a nostalgic photo of a 1930s German soldier on Adolph Hitler's birthday, and compared him to today's youth - favorably!

When King tweeted the photo of the German soldier on Hitler's birthday, the tweet somehow disappeared from his timeline. We'll see if this tweet meets the same fate, but we do have the screenshot. Screenshots are forever.

You know what else is forever, Steve? Immigration records! Who can forget the incredible awesomeness that is Jennifer Mendelsohn who has mad genealogy research skills? She started a viral hashtag called #resistancegenealogy soon after tweeting out your family's humble beginnings...which include a trip through Ellis Island. Yeah, you're an anchor baby yourself, aren't you, Steve?

Can you help us out?
