You can "swipe left" (reject a potential date) impersonally on your phone, but what if there's 30 people you have to "swipe" on in the same room? (Open Thread)

The swiping left (rejections) were far too quick and easy for this guy, even face to face, but he got his own back when several of his "swipe rights" rejected him.

The phone makes it easier to reject but does it also impersonalize the connection you might make in the first place?
