During the Arkansas Senate's somewhat lengthy hearing today (two hours long) on Republican-backed Bill 199, which really hits the main issues in our country, like inflation and, oh wait. Transgender individuals. The bill would allow a minor receiving any "gender transition procedure" the ability to sue the doctor for providing the care.

The hearing got incredibly creepy when Arkansas state Sen. Matt McKee asked a trans pharmacist if she had a penis. "Do you have a penis?" he asked the woman, who seemed stunned at the question.

"That's horrible," she said.

This is like transphobia mixed in with some misogyny from that guy. It's as if McKee hates biological women and trans women even more. The people in attendance just groaned after he asked that highly inappropriate question. What could they do?

So, I'd like to pose a couple of questions for McKee. Do you have a dick? How about balls? I'm sensing that he has neither. How about a brain? Stop treating women like shit. In Florida, they wanted high school girls to report when they have their menstrual periods. Republicans are getting way too creepy.

His remark didn't go down well.

Sit your droopy ass down, McKee. If someone asked that of my trans niece, I'd be all over their shit. My little old lady fists would be slapping me a bigot. The even weirdest part of his question is that he really wanted to know about her private parts. I wonder why that is.
