On Wednesday, Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis put forth his 2023 budget, dubbing it the "Framework for Freedom."

But millions of dollars are going to save the newly endangered specious in DeSantis' mind -- gas stoves.

"And then we just added because I think it needs to be done, no tax permanently on gas stoves," DeSantis said. "They want your gas stove, we're not going to let that happen."

Any right-wing cultural war meme that appears on Fox News is then transmitted to the House and immediately turns into law in Florida so that DeSantis can troll the libs. In this case, gas stoves have become a set tax-free incentive.

This is completely ridiculous. Only about 8% of Floridians even have gas stoves.

I'm sure 7 MILLION dollars could be put to better use in Florida.

And there is no indication that the federal government is actually considering banning gas stoves, but that means little to DeSantis.

Every day is a new day for DeSantis to promote a far-right faux crisis over his own constituents, to get the MAGA vote in the 2024 Republican presidential primaries.

It's a show, and not a well-produced one.
