"Why not? Why is he saying that? The implication is, you have your AR-15 so you could shoot at, kill, maim, who? Fellow citizens? Agents of the state? Why do you have them?" Chris Hayes challenged.

Chris Hayes asked a very important question last night after Tucker Carlson told his viewers it's "probably not the best time to give up your AR-15s."

"Why not? Why is he saying that? The implication is, you have your AR-15 so you could shoot at, kill, maim, who? Fellow citizens? Agents of the state? Why do you have them? Who are you going to shoot in Washington?" he demanded.

"Trump's buddies in the House are still demanding that DA Bragg essentially hand all of his evidence over to them. Today Bragg's office was forced to respond yet again to his baseless demands, this time, the warning they are teetering on the edge of criminal conduct. Quote, 'we urge you to refrain from these inflammatory accusations, withdraw your demand for information and let the criminal justice process proceed without an awful political interference."
