Sen. Lindsey Graham was flailing during his ABC's 'This Week' interview with host George Stephanopoulos, who held the South Carolina Republican's feet to the fire. Of course, Graham did a whatabout with Hillary Clinton over Trump's indictment over his godawful handling of our country's most sensitive documents.
The host reminded Graham that Clinton was investigated but wasn't found guilty of any wrongdoing. And then Graham tried that same whataboutism with Bill Clinton, and Stephanopoulos reminded him that the former President was impeached. Republicans' whataboutisms aren't realistic.
"And I've heard that, I've heard your attack on President Biden, and his just turn, I've heard your attack on Hillary Clinton, I've heard your attack on Bill Clinton," the ABC News host said. "What I've not heard from you is the defense of Donald Trump's behavior and why you think that's the kind of behavior you want to see in the President of the United States."
"I'm not justifying his behavior," Graham said nervously. "If it were up to me, nobody would take classified information."
"But you're endorsing him for President of the United States," Stephanopoulos shot back. "You're saying he should be President of the United States."
"Yeah, I think what's happening here is trying to delegitimize him," Graham bizarrely added.
Speaking of delegitimizing, Trump tried to do that with our country's first Black President by accusing him of being born in Kenya. Graham's skills of projection are at an IMAX level. Trump broke laws, and no one is supposed to be above the law. He needs to take a sedative. He looked like he was about to jump out of his seat.
