Attorney General Merrick Garland announced on Friday that he appointed a special counsel in the Hunter Biden probe. Garland said he was naming David Weiss, the U.S. attorney in Delaware. Weiss, a Republican, was appointed by former President Donald Trump, and he has been probing the financial and business dealings of Hunter Biden. The plea deal talks in Hunter Biden's case hit an impasse, so Weiss was appointed special counsel.
It should be a good day for Republicans, but they're suddenly unhappy they're getting what they wanted. I would explain it if I were able to.
The plea deal was not worked out with the Trump-appointed judge, Karen.
Lindsey Graham had to get in on the act:
Huh. Just a few months ago, Johnson, along with other Republicans, supported Weiss being appointed as special counsel.
So, they want us to believe that the Trump-appointed judge and the Trump-appointed attorney are all in on this coverup because the two Republicans have the warm and fuzzies for Hunter. Sounds legit!
