If you look at the audience who whooped and hollered when our President suggested that Iran nuke Los Angeles and San Diego, they're about as white as you might imagine. Republicans have dropped all pretense of appealing to other nationalities and are in full-blown white Christian nationalist mode.

And that pleases long-time white supremacist Jared Taylor just fine. Back in 2015, I wrote about how he was drawn to Trump because of their shared belief in white supremacy. The last time we heard from him he was giving expert advice on "Black on white rape fears."

You get the idea. Taylor and his American Renaissance organization are the types who show up at insurrections, Charlottesville marches and more. But I have to give him credit for shouting out Republicans this time for the work they've done in the area of white supremacy. While speaking to a group of Maryland College Republicans, Taylor congratulated Republicans on their purity.

Via Right Wing Watch:

"The Republican Party is, in effect, the party for white people," Taylor said. "Look at a Trump rally. It might as well be a meeting of the Sons and Daughters of the Confederacy."

"Mr. Trump ran for president three times," he continued. "The percentages of his vote that were white? 86, 88, and 78 percent. In Congress, 92 percent of Republican senators and congressmen are white. The Democrats? 55 percent are white. Even in majority non-white states such as Maryland or California, drop in on a local Republican meeting. It’s like driven snow."

Boy howdy, he's not wrong about that. Especially the Turning Point USA youth brigades.

"Of course, officially, the party is for everyone and is always wondering how to get another half-percent of the black vote," Taylor continued. "For decades, it has pilloried and persecuted any Republicans who dared to stand up for white people. It still does. But there are cracks in the anti-white firewall."

"There is a big difference between old Republicans and young Republicans," Taylor bragged. "I can go to a meeting of old Republicans, and no one knows who I am. Young Republicans treat me like a hero. And even a few old Republicans are beginning to see the light."

"It’s not just college Republicans," Taylor said. "Bo French and Marshall Rawson prove that. This shift was inevitable. For 60 or 70 years, white people were marching like zombies towards oblivion. A lot of them still are. But some of us have decided to live rather than die, and there are now enough of us to make a difference. Voters will decide in November how well they like Marshall Rawson, Bo French, and Colin McEvers. And to all you Republicans who know what is at stake: Your time to stand up for your people may come sooner than you think."

Take this guy at his word. He is an avowed white supremacist who has the Republican party pegged to a T. He's perfectly fine with them fooling Black and Hispanic voters into voting for Republicans as long as the party can put the screws to them afterward.

And it's not just their rallies. Judge them by what they do, not what they say. The conclusion will be the same.
