London In The Last 24 Hours - Uneasy At Best.

The last 24 hours of news reports regarding the riots in London and outlying communities around Britain, via BBC Radio 4's PM Program and The Six O'Clock News.

16,000 Police and an uneasy calm in London tonight. But elsewhere a different story.

According to these news reports (via BBC Radio 4's PM and The Six O'clock News) a somewhat uneasy calm has come over London while trouble has spread to other communities throughout England tonight including Liverpool, Leicester and Nottingham.

Since the story is breaking and it's dawn currently in the UK (9:00 pm PDT), I thought I would run a recap of the last 24 hours as a way of catching up in case you missed anything. More will be up as the story keeps unfolding.

But for now . . .
