Chris Matthews asked his weekend bobble head panel of Katy Kay, Norah O'Donnell, Joe Klein and Howard Fineman who had the very best year in 2010 and unfortunately none of them that picked the "Tea Party" bothered to point out to their viewers that the group is nothing but a re-branding effort by the GOP to get the Bush stink off of the word Republican.

Howard Fineman said that the "Tea Party" is going to be the "driving force in the Congress over the next two years", or in other words he thinks the far right wing of the Republican party is going to be driving their agenda until the next presidential election and most of the panel agreed with him.

It would have been nice if Fineman had bothered to point out who's behind that "movement" like the Koch brothers or their buddies Dick Armey and Tim Phillips instead of leaving the viewers possibly thinking that this was something you could actually call grass roots. The press has continually glossed over the astroturf groups who funded the so called "Tea Party" and we sadly have yet another example here.
