This Week with George Stephanopoulos marks the passings of golfer Betty Jameson and the fifty people who lost their lives on Continental Flight 3407 in Buffalo, including 9/11 widow activist Beverly Eckert and documentarian Allison Des Forges.

This week, the Pentagon released the names of 12 servicemembers who lost their lives in Iraq and Afghanistan. According to iCasualties, the total number of allied deaths in Iraq now is 4,563, in Afghanistan, 1,077. During this same week, Iraq Body Count has tallied the deaths of 174 Iraqi civilians.
