According to iCasualties, this brings the total number of allied service members killed in Iraq to 4,734; in Afghanistan, 2,066, of whom, 152 were Canadian. And though official combat was declared over in Iraq, Iraq Body Count still lists 44 Iraqi civilians killed during this same period, 501 total for the month of August.
