Seasick Steve is a blues musician who often employs some unusual techniques to get his own, unique sound. Most, if not all, of his guitars are customized, utilizing different string configurations, amounts of strings, and tunings. Although his style is usually on the minimalist side, in recent years he has played with a backing band on some occasions.
