I can appreciate that "some" of what occurs on his program may be reportable, particularly if specific and clearly inaccurate assertions of "fact" are made or direct character assassination is engaged in. It is the reason his numbers dropped and have now "leveled off". His viewership believes everything he says. They're trapped in the echo chamber, nay...they are comfortable in it, and like babies in their safe cribs have no desire to step out and expand their horizons. It's just "too hard" as GWB so often says.
Enough with this putz. I don't watch him, and I have no interest in seeing his ugly face. I can turn him off on my tv, but I can't turn him off here, unless I simply don't come here. It's the same as watching Countdown. I have to briefly suffer the image of Bill O, in order to watch one of my few favorite show.
I can't control what appears on Countdown. I also can't control what appears on C&L, but the beauty of this medium is I know that my message will at least get read.

Take a look at the POLICIES Daily Kos posters are supporting. They're speaking out against a police state. They're angry about things like our Constitutional right to things like a fair trial and illegal government warrantless searches being destroyed. They're speaking out against war, and calling for peace. They want a media that doesn't just spread party propaganda, but actually tells the truth to the people. They feel like people should not be discriminated against based on their skin color, or sexual preference. They don't think people should be viciously tortured. They disagree with secret prisons. They disagree with anyone being held without a fair trial. They're against the state having the right to just declare anyone an enemy of the state.
Now, can some Bill-O fan please explain to me how these beliefs make one a "Nazi"??? It sounds to me like they're advocating the exact OPPOSITE positions of the Nazis on every single issue, yet somehow propagandist O'Lielly wants to paint them as "Nazis".

You know when site designers (at least those who are serious) learn about AJAX-type enhancements in college? Intro to Multimedia, freshman year. It's pretty basic - and actually fairly old. Hell I learned about AJAX my freshman year - and I'm not a web design major (or even close). Even if it was difficult or "cutting edge" - why would you make a whole bunch of posts talking about how cool your server backend is?
Also, I don't care - any site that has to restrict and censor their comment section that much is worthless, no matter the subject. Leaving the site registration open for a short time at random periods is ridiculous, and redirecting links from websites disliked by the webmaster to other sites (in a supposedly sarcastic manner) is just childish.

Not that this really needs a response from anybody on the left, but wouldn't it be fairly easy to find vicious attacks by commentators on right-wing blogs? Somebody should gather up about a thousand or so of these kind of comments and email them to Bill O' Reily and demand that he make reference to them on air. Or maybe send them to one of the liberal pundits that are assigned to guest on his show. What you saw on the Factor was pure propaganda, sure, but nobody should be able to get away with throwing out numbers like "20 to 1" to a large audience of people who aren't at all aware of whats going on.

I hear ya, and under ordinary circumstances I would be inclined to agree that the whole "right or left" thing is little more than "chocolate or vanilla", or as Carlin puts it "paper or plastic". However, this is no ordinary administration, and if all I have to fight them is the tiny pink intellectual sample spoon of political partisanship, then by god I'll take it.
I really can't believe O’Reilly can attack DailyKos like this and get away with it! He is totally out of line in my humble opinion. What is even more amazing is that the folks over at RedState.org (a conservative blog) are actually applauding O'Reilly's labeling of DailyKos as a "hate site." Its funny that when it comes to campaign finance Republicans are all about supporting free speech and the marketplace of ideas but when it comes to providing a public forum for people to vent and express themselves politically the Republicans are applauding O'Reilly's idiotic and unfair focus on a few rogue comments, made in an open public forum out of millions of posts by people who do not even represent DailyKos. If DailyKos is a "hate" site then every single blog that is popular and has hundreds of comments a day is a "hate site." Of course the MSM doesn't care about someone trashing the blogs, which are now valid competitors.
You just never know where pea-sized brain will fall in the roulette wheel of Bill's cranium. All we do know is there is a lot of clattering and everyone walks away thinking.. "whadda friggin idiot!"

We kind of make a big deal about Oberman, Steward and Colbert going after guys like Bush and Cheney but the thing is those guys will be discarded in a few years and the "men behind the curtain" will still go unnoticed and unchecked as Hillary or Guiliani take over and essentially carry on the same policies. It's the bankers and bigtime investors they need to call out...the money men (including their own employees which obviously won't happen). Until they start doing that. It's business as usual.

I can't believe that I agree with Fred "Satan's Bitch" Phelps on one thing: that Bill Orally is a disgusting human being. And will someone please tell Bernie Goldberg to stop smoking from Billo's loofah before Al Franken bitch-slaps him again?
Notice how Bill COMPLETELY AVOIDS mentioning what Phelps and his family are most infamous for, "God Hates Fags," celebrating the death of Matthew Shepard at his own funeral. That would not please Bill's target audience, condemning this.
