Like JFK, President Bush surrounds himself with "the best and the brightest." Well, sorta.

"I'm a sunny guy"
~The Decider.
LOL.
First!
ldzppln @ 2:
Nope
:)
Once again, The Daily Show out-classes every news entity in the country.
The sunny guy's bbf, gonzo is in a live hearing on c-span 3 right now. :)
Bush makes perfect sense, our troops make perfect targets, it is perfectly clear we can't keep this ass for another year.
The hearing is over and they didn't ask him one single question. WTF was that about?
I must have caught the very end of it or something.
Explain to me once again how Al Gore did not beat the "Uniter" in 2000? Oh yeah, more people wanted to have a beer with Bush. Eight years down the crapper with the crap artist.
lou @ 9:
Recall, more people voted for Mr. Gore than herr dubyah.
pissed off patricia @ 8:
Maybe he said "Ahhh f*ck it, you're right. I quit."
yeah right. in our dreams.
I still can't believe he's in office. He stole one election and then the voting dumbasses kept him there in '04 while most of country sat there and watched. Moronic.
Jon Stewart is one of my favorite American Patriots. I hope he picks up on the Cheney/Leahy kiss/fyourself thing.
So do we have non-accountants working on our budgets?
lou @ 9:
That's what happens after a few too many beers.
boosh thinks being a master debator makes him a masturbator.
Welcome to the United Decidership of America!
Bush repeatedly claims he listens to the Generals and his experts. He also claims that Al Qaeda will turn Iraq into a base for exporting terrorism, but his Generals in the Pentagon running war games disagree:

President of the United States, President D. Lusional
What a poor excuse of a man and he's the most powerful man in the world. Maybe we need to rethink a few things.
Is it any wonder this country has, in 6-1/2 years of "leadership" or "decidership", become the laughingstock of the world? (Besides the most [or one of the most] hated nations?)
[...] I love it when Jon Stewart impersonates our President. [...]
That's not right.
John took his remarks out of context.
If he had quoted them in context, George would have looked much stupider. (George's word, not mine)
Wow... that's as bad as Dr. McCoy: "Dammit, Jim! I'm not an engineer, I'm a doctor!"
Elected................. Twice*!!
[*see chad, Diebold]
So who's running the war in Iraq, Barney Fife?
"The Best and the Brightest" - more like ""The Worst and the Stupidest"
Check out the Economist's rip on Gonzales. The entire world recognizes this toady for what he really is.
SilentPatriot, you mean boosh surrounds hizself with the 'yessiest' and the 'lightest', don't you?
Virginia Renegade @ 12:
first one was stolen by scalia
2nd one was stolen by diebold
Thanks for the laughs, Jon! Badly needed to balance the outrage.
"I'm not a voyeur" - that's just too funny.
This was like a skit from Saturday Night Live, except they don't have to make anything up or write any lines.
ysbaddaden @ 24:
No. Barney the Dog.
He is an expert in Bullshit! Here he goes again with the al-Qaida = Iraq speech - and again at an air force base, where he will be greeted with applause.
Bush Warns Anew of Terror Threat
By BEN FELLER | Associated Press Writer
12:45 PM CDT, July 24, 2007
CHARLESTON, S.C. - President Bush on Tuesday lashed out at critics who say that al-Qaida's operation in Iraq is distinct from terrorists who attacked the United States on Sept. 11, 2001.
"The merger between al-Qaida and its Iraqi affiliate is an alliance of killers and that is why the finest military in the world is on their trail," Bush said.
Citing security details he declassified for his speech, Bush described al-Qaida's burgeoning operation in Iraq as a direct threat to the United States. Bush accused critics in Congress of misleading the American public by suggesting otherwise.
GWB = President Asshat
"Best and Brightest?" More like "least and lightest." Intellectually speaking, that is. The veeper and turdblossom ain't exactly poster kids for Jenny Craig or Trimspa.
Despite the record low approval ratings, President Bush and his administration are still arrogant and blinded by the Iraq War. The people of this country are fed up with Bush’s senseless war and the lack of domestic policies. There are much more important issues in this world that the US should be taking part in, such as global poverty. According to the Borgen Project, whose goal is to fight global poverty, US is one of the nations pledged in the Millennium Development Project. MDP is aimed at eliminating world poverty in half by the year 2015. However, this country has done anything but reducing poverty. The war on “terror” has created more poverty, more hunger and more violence within Iraq and the United States. It is time for this country’s president to rethink the direction where this great nation is going. Perhaps the second lowest approval rating since Watergate will be a wake up call to President Bush.
Liberal AND Proud @ 31:
Well, that's a step in the right direction, at least.
Mstessyrue @ 35:
Keep hoping, there may be a pony in there somewhere.
I often find myself wishing that Bush would be exposed as some sort of Lex Luthor-type evil genius who was only pretending to be stupid. At least then I wouldn't be embarrassed that he's our president.
Bush surrounds himself with cultists like Bolten, Miers and Condi who are waiting to be his main squeeze after Laura passes away
Nailed it, nailed it, nailed it!

Gort @ 32:
I guess the next step is to release an "Osama Bin Laden" DVD box set.
No statement from the Preznit on talks between the U.S. and IRAN! LOLOL!
What's he gonna say..."I did not authorize these talks"??!?! LOLOL.
It's even on Fox News. Soon the heads of the 25%ers will begin to explode! LOLOL!
myiq2xu @ 36:
I'm sure the insurrectionists would've appreciated Barney the Dinosaur singing, "I like you...you like me..." right, Freddy boy?
Let us not forget one of Chimps greatest experts -- Paul ‘I’m wearing a Brooks Brothers suit and combat boots’ Bremer. (Nothing says, “Follow my orders, I know what I’m doing” like a guy in that ensemble.) This idiot, along with his string-pullers in Washington - with their 100% wrong decisions making - pretty much caused the occupation of Iraq to spiral downward into chaos within twenty four hours after his trendy footwear hit the tarmac in Iraq. He should be banished to Iraq, where the locals can have their way with him.
Bush cares nothing for polls. He's not a poll guy
Bush cares nothing for the law. He's not a lawyer
Bush cares nothing for the clouds. He's a sunny guy
annaeye @ 43:
Bush cares nothing for this country. He's an honorary Saudi.
There has to be someone working in the Bush Administration that knows something.
Anything. There just has to be. At least one . This is getting scary . Maybe there is an accountant somewhere ? They cannot all be 'sunny guys' ( and gals).
[...] Daily Show: Bush Relies On His “Non-Experts” [...]
Notice how bush said, "I have expert in my government"?
It's not your government, Dickhead. It's ours. You are just the hired help.
lou @ 9:
umm ... actually, Gore did beat Bush - the Supreme Court (in a real surprise) decided otherwise.
We can all thank Chris Matthews for Bush thinking he is a "sunny guy." Remember, it was Chris Matthews who claimed Bush had an aura of "sunny nobility" about him. Don't forget... Chris Matthews continues to try to rewrite history and claim neutrality but he was 110% behind this administration from DAY ONE until it was obvious to EVERYONE what a bunch of screw ups they are.
amen, brother.
Remember it was Chris Matthews who said Bush had a "sunny nobility." We have Matthews to thank for Bush thinking he is somehow a "sunny guy."

Hmmm, fight them over there, or they will follow us home - and what, our worlds finest military, can't prevent that? Oh yes, the NATIONAL GUARD is overseas - when are they all coming home? And when will we the people rise up and get rid of the trash in our government.!!!!!
The Bushite's pulling the strings behind the scenes are not as stupid as so many America "think" they are thinking. They are doing what they are doing for the same reason a dogs lick their genitals. Because they can - no one has really taken the kind of action that would stop them
There is sufficient evidence that the election was "fixed" in 2000 by voter suppression, and illegal purging of voter list in Florida.
Americans did nothing - Corporations kept humming just as if nothing wrong had happened.
Rethuglican Congressional staff members were paid (at taxpayer expense) to go to Florida to disrupt any efforts at for a real recount. Americans did nothing.
the Bushites lied us into war. Americans did nothing.
American Armed forces committed war crimes for more than ten years in maintaining sanctions against Iraq.
Americans did nothing.
Bushites stole another election in 2004. Americans did nothing.
Bush referred to the U.S. Constitution as "just a goddam piece of paper and regarded it so with respect to habeas corpus, treaty obligations. separation of powers, "faith based initiatives". outing a CIA agent,(treason) rights of privacy, warrantless searches...
Americans did nothing.
Bushites responsible for the wasteful deaths of more than 3500 of America's young fighting men and woman.
America did nothng and American media made mock of a grieving mother who wanted answers.
Meanwhile Americas corporations kept humming and their CEOs kept piling up the loot.
America's stupidiest refer to the French aas surrender monkeys. But check ouit the history of the French. If any of the above was attempted by the French Government - French citizens, the young , the old, students, workers, technicians, they would have been in the street The would have shut the country meaning shutting down the corporations. The government doesn't listen to its people it listen to the voices of the corporations. If Americans stopped wringing their hands and figuratively began to wring the necks of corporation you can be absof**kinglutely certain their would be changes made, as the expression goes, forthwith. That's how you effectively say to Cheney and his ilk, "No it not 'f**k me' its f**k you' ."
Americans have done nothing to deter the destruction of their own nation.
