O'Reilly cuts Hall's mic to get the last word about BilloReilly.com's HATE comments

As O'Reilly smeared Kos and YKos yet again, Jane Hall told Bill that his own website had hate comments on it. BillO called her a liar and then they cut her mic off so he was sure to get the last word in...Jane was left talking at the end with no sound to be heard. That's one class operation BillO has.

O'Reilly is one sick puppy. The good news is that he has helped bring progressive blogs to the attention of mainstream America.
Bill O'Reilly is either deranged, a sociopath or plainly a stooge for Rupert Murdoch and NewsCorp. Then again, O'Reilly could just as well be all of the above.
O'Reilly has a definite pattern of attacking people's livelihoods when he does not agree with decisions or opinions made by others as well his known pattern of threatening others with violence qand then denying it afterwards. In essence, O'Reilly is a coward who acts as he does in the safe environment of the FOX "News" studios and his radio program. O'Reilly would not get away with his juvenile behavior on the street or in places of equal footing. O'Reilly enjoys making trouble for others where he is protected by the power and advantage of a news studio. Its easy to act like a tough guy and its a whole entire different story to actually be a "tough guy."
As someone of Irish descent, I am ashamed that O'Reilly is Irish.
I'd love to have the Real Dems boycot O'Biley, Fox News, et al, but then they'd drum up some Faux Dems who would just spew more lies. We've got to keep up the rebuttle of the dis/false information that is out there.

Yes Bill is flat out evil, but do you really think that he is also in charge of the audio mixing board? I hate to say it, but I can't imagine he has enough brain power to both talk, chew gum, and work the audio on the live broadcast.
Blame the guys/gals in the control room mixing the audio and working the remote video feeds cutting off the guests' microphones. I don't think Bill would be coordinated enough to handle that job. He certainly isn't a news caster.

Jason, If you read my whole comment you would have seen that I did say the Right is strong in talk radio and the left is working hard to end that... Attempts have been made for a national talk radio program which is left of center but those have failed.. For why I don't know...
Ms. Hall was similarly derided by this narcissistic buffoon a few months ago, and to such a degree that I was surprised by her return to the "Bernie and Jane" segment on The Factor. She is one of the regulars on FoxNewsWatch which, in my opinion, is the ONLY show on Fox which even remotely justifies the network's laughable "fair and balanced" slogan. That show also features the consistently liberal Neal Gabler who O'Reilly has repeatedly slammed (once referring to Gabler as a "mad dog"). Jane Hall is fairly moderate...at least that is her Fox News persona...causing Democrats like myself to practically scream at the TV for her to be more assertive. In this case she was, and thus the reaction of the "politically neutral" O'Reilly.
I used to watch Faux News - just to see what O'Lielly was putting out there. But I could no longer stomach it. Now I refuse to visit the Faux News website or tune in.

Listen, if the mainstream media were so left-biased there is no way the garbage that kept plaguing Gore during the 2000 presidential campaign would have stuck. Look at the Daily Howler for ample evidence of that. Some of the worst examples come from the "left-wing" New York Times. The same can be said for John Kerry during the 2004 campaign. In the 2004 campaign the "left-biased" media should have skewered President Bush for his (lack of) military service, etc. no? Oh wait, that didn't happen.
Look for this stuff and you'll see that the idea of a left-wing biased media is hogwash put out there by the right (and frankly they've done a good job).

Yes, I am what O'Reilly describes as someone who has always been proud not to be just a "liberal" but an ultra-liberal or in other words, "far left." I believe that more money should be spend on people and investing in people rather than investing in buildings and bombs and allowing tax money to be spent to subsidize corporations and sports stadiums.
As an American I have a right to be a liberal. I am also anti-war as well. I hope the United States starts to advcate for peace for once as well.

I have watched the bill o show and certainly don't agree with all that is said, but the majority of the reporting is reasonable and most guests ARE given the chance to express their views if they are resonable and truthful. Jason, You're right I have not agreed with the spending under President Bush... Tax revenue has been great but spending from the government as a whole is out of control.. When I said I don't trust the government I said right or left.. Each side is spending way too much... What I would like to see before we go into greater debt is for earmarks to be listed by who put them in and other safe guards to curve spending... The government, as a whole, is finding it way too easy spending our money...

If she was done speaking why did O'Reilly have to apologize for being "impolite?" It is common practice to cut mics at the end of segments when going to commercial, not with 20 seconds to go. BTW, they didn't actually cut her mic, they post-edited the piece, adding the sequence where they claim to remove offensive posts, and they simply cut out her audio.
She ought to quit that show while she still has a shred of respectibility.

The fact that you don't know what I'm talking about speaks volumes. All I said was "thank you" for showing that what is said about this site is apparently true. I'm a 25 year Navy vet so I know a little bit about freedom and the consequences of losing it. I also recognize oppression when I see it. Not allowing opposing views is what I fought against for over half my life. Thank you.
Site Monitor: You are not ever edited/deleted for ideology. So spare us your cries of oppression. We edit/delete comments that do not fall within our commenting policy guidelines. Trust us, we delete just as many from the "left" as we do from the "right." We also have several commenters who are conservative who are not edited or deleted, because they are able to form a post that is not inciting or insulting. But if you'd rather play martyr....

This was my first and last visit to your site. I read through about 60 posts that were NOT edited by your "sitemonitor" spewing all sorts of foul and inciting language against O'Riley and the Right. You let those post stand apparently without edit. Only after my comments were "edited" some of them were posted but not without the "sitemonitor" getting in his or her digs and jabs that the thin skinned would find insulting. I'm no martyr, just an old Sailor that "says what he means and means what he says." I believe I've earned that right. Again, Thank you for the lesson.

Jane Hall hardly gets a word off and the tinhorn O'Reilly interrupts her and finally cuts her off. These tactics are nothing new. They are par for the course on the Craptor. Anytime O'Reilly does manage to land a guest likely to expose his rightwing partisanship or turn his warped ideology on its ear, such as a Robert Reich or Bill Maher, he makes sure those segments are pretaped. The editting is so blatant and obvious that one has to wonder if his core audience is more in their late 80s than 60s. How can they not see that? How can they not see how heavily manipulated those segments are?
And for those morons who continue to insist that the media is Liberal, name one commentator -- other than Keith Olbermann -- with his/her own show? CNN, which the Right loves to cite as an example of tilting left, has Glenn Beck and Lou Dobbs with their own shows. Where's the Liberal host with his own show, either at CNN or Fox News?

I would love to see O'Reily actually be put on a neutral broadcast and have to debate with someone like Keith Olberman. It would be worth the price of admission to just watch him squirm because he wouldn't be able to hold his ground. Every time he gets called on lies he resorts to some method of getting out of the conversation be it pulling the mic, or cutting the person off in general. Its not the first time and I seriously doubt it will be the last. I still can't understand how any rational thinking person can buy into his line of crap.
