Corrente: Did Democrats capitulate when it came to gutting the Fourth Amendment, or is there more to it than that?
Gin and Tacos: The V-22 - 25 years and billions of tax dollars later, our soldiers now have an unarmed, stationary target that occasionally falls out of the sky on its own.
Walking with Ghosts: Cecilia Sarkozy is just a normal woman who can't stand the idea of being in a room with George Bush. Is that so hard to understand?

Oh jesus, when I saw those words, "ultimate blogger 3" I thought Blogger was coming out with a new blogging system that we would all have to change over to, like we did last year. Thank goodness that's not what it is. Whew!
Does Bill Wolfrum have a wolf-wolf?
Very quickly, the destruction of our freedoms is not a George Bush directive, it is a directive of the corporate elite.
Now. Yesterday, NASA once again attempted, successfully to put a teacher in space. Unfortunately, it looks like NASA is again on its way to attempting to kill her too.
The poorly designed, overaged, obsolete space shuttle has a hole in its hull. Oh, and all those great public relations "repair capabilities" are now considered too dangerous, and could potentially cause more problems for the shuttle than the original damage.
I dont' mean to hijack the thread. I just thought this was important to bring up.
I'm not really interested in debating whether the blame is on budget cuts or poor strategy on the part of NASA. The bottom line is the shuttle was always a compromise design and COMPROMISED design, and strapping civilians to a mega sized bottle rocket, which is what the SRB/Giant Fuel Tank launch vehicle essentially is, is a TERRIBLE idea. Astronauts get paid to take risks, and they made career choices to take those risks.
"You might also remember me as part of the Norwegian supergroup “a-ha” (I was “ha”). Now it’s time to Take On Me some
links."
you need a spanking
emobile @ 1:
and that was a joke emobile
a-ha? Really? That's awesome. Best video EVER. And "Take On Me" is very useful when, for whatever reason, one needs to generate a major seventh interval in one's head.
Two off-topic points, one serious and one... whell, you'll see...
1/ A colleague of mine was upset this morning about a Hannity & Colmes segment on Obama' comments about the US military air bombing villages and killing civilians in afghanistan, calling Obama a traitor like Kerry, etc. I went to see the segment on foxnews.com and it was outrageous ! With two minutes of Googles searches I showed him that it was a UK senior commander in the region opinion !!! You should have seen his jaw drop. Then I showed him some extract of TV reports on nightly US raid in Iraq, effectively terrorizing woment and children at night. His answer... "We're at war".
Such a moron...
2/ Leaving foxnews.com, they caught me on a commercial survey for... a new anti-erectile dysfonction drug ! What does it say about Fox News viewers ?
Cecilia Sarkozy is just a normal woman who can’t stand the idea of being in a room with George Bush. Is that so hard to understand?
Especially when all he can offer her is hot dogs, hamburgers and baked beans.
The linked article about the V-22 is TWO YEARS OLD. Does that qualify as "news"?
I was an eye-witness the the V-22 crash of July 92. That thing is a dog, It glides like a brick and can't auto-rotate. Loose power and you're doomed. It's going to kill a whole lot of our troops if it ever goes into service.
It's development was nothing but politically originated corporate welfare. And it was unnecessary, too, being that a superior and cheaper technology preceded it in the form of slow-rotation gyro planes which are cheaper, inherently safe and fly a whole lot faster. Check it out:

Flies circles around the Osprey. Vertical zero-roll landing, zero-roll jump takeoff.

No German potato salad?
If I had to go on a picnic with the Bushes and those ignorant fucks tried to serve me hotdogs and baked beans I'd told their asses "I only eat LOBSTER goddammit!"
Norse @ 6:
Was A Ha and Abba the same group with the substitution of a different consonant.
Norse: Are you a le femme?
Off topic but frightening.
Bush today used his power while congress is out of session to label the Iranian Voluntary Army a Terrorist Organization. This allows him to hold funding and if needed attack them without congressional approval.
Not good, not good at all.
MSNBC just ran a report on it.

I've been trying to research whether they ever declared the "KKK" or "skinheads" terrorist organizations.
nativeokie @ 16:
I don't know what happened with that quote at 17 but I wonder whether bush ever declared the "KKK", or "skinheads" terrorist organizations
No, Okie -- the KKK and Skinheads are WHITE!
ysbaddaden @ 15:
Nope, not female, but anyone claiming to be Morten Harket, the one in the middle of the photo, qualifies for spanking, even in jest as in "ha ha ha" A-ha. Of course, some would say that about the original as well.
Abba was an all swede band, A-ha was an all norwegian one, and with other differences in time and styles as well.
Funny thing though, A-ha was big in Norway as well, but far greater in the world than at home. Think they still hold the record for largest audience on a concert, in some soccer stadium in Brazil, where they were huge.
I hate you for making me look at the a-ha Wikipedia page.
eric @ 18:
Nope, but Black Panthers are still on it.
nativeokie @ 16:
I saw that too - its a brilliant move to get the legal-ese on your side. Its a crappy move from every other perspective though.
Which makes me think - did Rove really resign?

Test yer mad blogging skillz at Ultimate Blogger! Whoo-hoo!
Another Butthead Bushie
Hi "ha".
Good luck on the concert that you nd the rest of a-ha are doing tommorow in a footbalstadium in Frederikstadt, Norway. ;-) (See link)
(best to check beforehand if the band that you use, to have been a part of isn't by any chance still in existence as we speak. ;-) )
And he isn't even listed as a member through the wikipedia page. And googling only shows wolfrum related to blogging, not any super band....
Guess he just wanted to fit in with the "Crooks and Liars" ???
