Glad to see he's not running from the word "liberal". Now that we are getting the "L" word back we can work on branding "conservative" as everything backward, hateful, incompetent, lawless, bigoted, warmongering and deficit spending. Through repetition we can do to their word what they did to ours and with the truth.
O/T, but Congressman Pete Stark is under attack from the reich-wingers for his comments made on the House floor yesterday about dubyah and the war. I would suggest everyone sending the congressman a note of your support for his comments and NOT to back down to the reich-wingers.
I bought it along with Colbert's new book they day they came out. On page 60 and very good reading. I called Pete Stark's office yesterday and talked with an aide to tell her our local right wing nut job talk show host was telling everyone to call his office and blast him. I told her to hang in there and that the day would be over soon. I also told her I wished more people would have his GUTS.
Go read a primer on political philosophy and learn the difference between socialism and liberalism, so you can stop embarrassing yourself with idiotic statements.

First he needs to learn how to read, which may take a while...
Furthermore, it may be a few decades before troll boy gathers the required cognitive fortitude to understand a book on political philosophy. A genre which expects a relative degree of cultural an educational sophistication from its intended audience.
What I am trying to say is that the original poster is a moron... and expect him to know the basic tenets of socialism is a bit of a stretch.

Pete Stark is a tough guy. He'll stand pat, as he should. It's just another "opportunity" for the regressives to change the subject and not have to face up to their votes. They're the masters of the personal smear, and, of course, the first to holler when they claim someone else is doing it. Anyway, lets buy both the Klein and Krugman books. And while you're at it, I highly recommend "The Architect, Karl Rove" (James Moore and Wayne Slater), plenty of additional ammo if you need it for why Liberals can feel morally good about themselves that they're not a willing or duped participant in the Karl Rove/Grover Norquist etc view of reality and politics.
Come on guys, we need to support Paul Krugman. And stop this complaining and whining about his book. I find it's the same way with Keith Olbermann. You complain and complain and when someone comes along that says the things YOU'VE been saying all along, you still find something to nitpick and moan about. If people like Krugman and Olbermann don't get support from the left wing blog community, we can't complain when MSNBC hires some right-wing hack to replace Olbermann. Or Mann Coulter's books outselling Krugman's, and it's seen as an affirmation of how America agrees with her views more than Paul's.
How about Naomi Klein's "Shock Doctrine" instead? I like Krugman though, he's only a moderately delusional liberal.
Please Timmy, tell us who is a fully delusional liberal.
Hillary Clinton
George Stephanopolis
Chris Matthews
Tom Friedman
I could go on ...
I actually do like Paul Krugman though, I wasn't being sarcastic - he's one of the few liberal pundits who isn't a neo-liberal imperialist slimeball, which is what almost all Democratic politicians are these days.

Just to clarify, there are liberals I respect greatly:
Jim Hightower
D Kucinich
Mike Gravel
Cynthia McKinney
Mike Malloy
Naomi Klein
(no I am not really a communist, I am a libertarian socialist)
If you do buy it, be safe and buy a copy of Stephen Colbert's book as well, because if Krugman's book outsells I Am America (And So Can You!) Colbert has vowed to stop doing his show.
I don't get the arrows on the cover. They're backwards. The big blue arrow is pointing to the right. Shouldn't it be pointing to the left?
No, no. It is COMING from the left, see? Although, just as (unintentionally?) telling, it shows the Blue team running to the right rather than holding their ground. The story of the Democratic party for the last 20 some years. Here's a hint blue team: the more you move the right, the further the Haggards, Dobsons, and Wolfowitzs will move to the further right.
I'm not sure why it is riding up on top of the red arrow that is going down, tho... hrm. Let's have no Larry Craig shenanigans here... ;)
So apparently I agree with "communist libertarian socialist homosexual menace" @ 34. When Edwards is the left most electable in the party, you have problems!

I'll put it on my Xmas list... oops, make that "holiday" list. :)
Pick up a copy? I've got better things to do with my money.
I'll be sure to send a copy to Bill O'Racist and Mann Coulter.
Just picked up a copy for a Christmas gift! Amazon is selling it for 15 and change!
Send it to every uneducated Reslug you know.

I hear it's bundled at Amazon with ACoulter's newest book. I guess you get one to read (on the john) while you use the other to wipe your butt with!
On second thought, maybe not so funny, I'll bet the pages in her book have sharp edges too!
How about Naomi Klein's "Shock Doctrine" instead? I like Krugman though, he's only a moderately delusional liberal.
I've posted her book already...
Mugsy @ 1:
Make that NC17-list.
That way it'll be given to the naughty or the naughtiest.

That picture of reid on the front page is an annoying reminder outrage burnout...

Krugman was great a few weeks ago on Josh Marshall's TPM TV. His book sounds really good
Kind of a redundant title, isn;t it?
I'm waiting for "Conscience Of A NeoCon Conservative" - preferably written by slimeball John Boehner.
Donald Negri @ 25:
I'd prefer it by Jeff Gannon.

Does Krugmann have contract out on him?
I mean is there a contract out on Krugman?

We can't have that.
I'm sure this book will be as good as the original Conscience of a Liberal book by Paul Wellstone.
Donald Negri @ 25:
As am I. I hear it will be one page long. In very large type. With huge margins.
