Malkin is a reich wing shill/liar and she knows it. "Healthy Forests" was BushCo's give away to the timber industry. It's the brush where the fires start not the big trees. The brush is the kindle that starts the fire, the wind also picks up the blows the ignited brush to other parts of the forests which starts more fires. Bush"s "Healthy Forest" was all about clear cutting old growth trees, not clearing out the under brush.
The GOP will clear cut whatever old growth trees are left behind from the GOP's global warming fires.
God's going to send Malkin to hell for helping BushCo destroy the planet.

Forest fires used to start with lightning strikes hitting dead trees. But then burned out on their own due to the growth in a healthy forest and natural firebreaks from previous fires.

the article about using the lincoln tunnel for surgery had a snickery take on surgical patients' (Lady surgical patients') options and use of less painful surgical techniques. ha ha the vagina, giggle, snort.
i myself had my lady parts removed thusly. i assure you the pain was less and recovery time quicker than it would have been if i'd had a deep cut thru abdominal muscles, guts shoved around and stitched back up. why cut into more tissue than you have too? because using the vagina is naughty?

Malkin has a point. While she fails to link those figures to the So Cal fires (and they probably would not have been stopped by the "Healthy Forests" giveaway to the timber industry), up here in Nor Cal, the recent Lake Tahoe-area fires were indeed exacerbated by the failure to clear trees. This is a fact. And it may apply to the situation around Lake Arrowhead, where there are forests.
So, she's a tool, she's misusing the data, and she's a tool (double tool), but "environmentalists" can be, and have been, idiots. Zealotry getting in the way of good science and good sense is not for the right only.
Please send your angry responses to the people in Tahoe who lost their homes due to misguided "environmentalists."
