FOX NEWS Captions

What a wonderful caption on Cavuto's show...

"Sex with underage Boys: Could it be a Good Thing?"

(h/t Brent for sending this in last week)

Update from Site Monitors: Yeah, yeah it's a fake. Original here, btw. Fox would rather hypothesize that "all out civil war in Iraq" might be a good thing. Geez, you guys are gonna be no fun at all when we do "Blogroll Amnesty - All Malkin, All the Time" on April Fools' Day.

I'm 49 and I've had lots of sex with underage boys. It was a good thing for me and, as far as I can tell, a good thing for them as well.

Now, all that sex took place 30-some years ago....

Fox is starting to use reverse brainwashing on the viewers. In time, Fox viewers will have totally empty cranial cavities. Nothing more then Pavlovian specimens.

The next stage at some point will probably be captions like. . . Go out and kill anyone who's not a Neocon.

ashton's picture

That is frightening. Considering the intellectual level of most Fox viewers, young boys everywhere should be scared to death. Luckily, Doctors offices are closed on weekends so the Viagra needed to pull this off is not available.

Slightly OT, but am I the only one tired of people or news entities throwing verbal bombs and then stepping aside as if they weren't responsible for their words. I'm talking about using the ruse of phrasing some scurrilous statement in question form, IE; " Kucinich sees UFO. Does he enjoy alien butt probing?"

Or, the other ploy, stating something outlandish and the using the disclaimer,"just sayin'," as in; "I wonder if Bill Clinton makes Hillary watch. Just sayin'."

Are they both bullshit? Just sayin'.

Funny, as long as you realize it is a photoshopped joke. the "underage" text is slightly different from the bottom line.

Much easier than that is to restore the Fairness Doctrine. Fox will stop spouting much of anything because they will be totally unwilling to have opposing viewpoints aired on their network.

We have three men on the screen, and the caption discussing the merits of pedophilia.

Fox is sick, and people who watch Fox are sick in the head.

Cat Atomic's picture

This is a spoof, people-- C&L shouldn't post this sort of thing, and if they do-- it should be accompanied by a big disclaimer.

This isn't good for your credibility, C&L.

After looking carefully at the Media Matters site and the above image it is obvious that this was faked.

However, isn't it strange how even though i was shocked i was able to believe it was real? Fox has done so many off the wall things i believe them capable of anything.

syz's picture

I hate Fox News as much as the next guy, but you don't have to even look very closely to notice that the font on the first line doesn't match the font on the second line. Even without seeing the original unmodified one from Media Matters, this one didn't pass the smell test. Come on, people.

Oof. Not good, John.
One always has to be careful when spoofing Fox, because reaching the 'threshold of parody' for an organization as recklessly juvenile as Fox is so difficult to get to.
But this is honestly past that threshold. As the Media Matters example points out, one never needs to invent parody to criticize Fox. They make plenty of their own.

Shit like this robs you of credibility.

FOX is a pedofile enabler otherwise.

RH's picture

With all the republicans pushed out of the closet, this just fits well with a republican propaganda machine network, the California republican president was just recently convicted of sex with under age boys, a male pedophile, so no I am not suprised at the wide stance of the fox news elite, maybe this is all just the tip of the ice berg for these pedopiles in their closets....proclaiming morality, family values all the while doing like the Foleys lusting for our young kids, and abusing them in Washington sexual scandals one after another, not surprising that republican party is full of pedophiles, homosexuals [under cover in closet], that one will find them supporting and bragging on how they support and authorize middle ages forms of torture such as "water boarding" as mere harsh techniques...., one might wonder if they admit too these techniques what do they hide, via the destruction of CIA interrogation tapes...some venture too say it would make Abu Gharib videos pale in comparison...., funny how another infamous nation turned a blind eye too tyranical leaders/political party which viewed the means justifed the end...., they called themselve patriotic German citizens, members of a party called "Nazi's", anyone see the connection today too the infamous republicans who claim if your not with us your against us....

Torture, genocide, rape and pillage! Even pedophilia! It's all god when you're just "presenting" both sides of the story, after all even the most vicious child rapist (combined two into one there!) has a valid point to the NeoTurd mind!

Why do these asshats even still have their broadcast license?

John, I agree with Beelzebud. If the point of posting this bit of fakery was to remind people to question everything they read, it undermined credibility instead.
