FOXNews Poll: Who Does Bin Laden Want To Win White House?

FOXNews: (yes, it goes there)

Who is Usama Rooting For?

Who does Usama bin Laden want to be the next president? More people think the terrorist leader wants Obama to win (30 percent) than think he wants Clinton (22 percent) or McCain (10 percent). Another 18 percent says it doesn’t matter to bin Laden and 20 percent are unsure

Of course, it makes perfect sense that bin Laden would want a Muslim to be the next President of the United States of America. Of course the results of this poll are suspect because al Qaeda already called Obama to congratulate him earlier this week! /snark off

It's going to be a long year...

What a shameful excuse for a network.

I'm disgusted. Can we all gather at Fox News' headquarters with a vat of ipecac and simultaneously vomit on the building and anyone who comes out of it?

The lunatic fringe right wingers are still using these "terrorists will be happy Democrats win" garbage. Its the same tactic they have been using even though it only worked in 2004. Its pathetic. Completely pathetic.

Of course, no one is really surprised by GOP TV's BS Push polls, are they?

Going forward, Bet they do an Ann Coulter and use his Middle name....

Usama will be sad to see George W go... he's been Al Queda's top recruiter. But not to worry Bin laden, John McCain will be up to the task!

Some people will believe this stuff. Those are the people who read the National Enquirer, think professional wrestling is real and believe that the Clintons stole the silverware and trashed the WH causing Laura to have to fumigate it before they could move in. Fortunately, the rest of us are reasonably sane.

Why, I would think Osama would want his bestest pal and bidniss associate The Boy Blunder to continue as America's illiterate Preznit.

I don't think the ibecac will be necessary.

I'm no fan of Fox News, but there was no mention of Obama being Muslim in the link.

"Who does Usama bin Laden want to be the next president? More people think the terrorist leader wants Obama to win (30 percent) than think he wants Clinton (22 percent) or McCain (10 percent). Another 18 percent says it doesn’t matter to bin Laden and 20 percent are unsure."

Unbelievable

Obama's name is going to be the swift-boating target this time around. The right will be emphasizing his middle name, and Fox news and Glenn Beck will be "accidentally" calling him Osama at every opportunity. I just overheard a guy at work say "Obama"? you mean Osama, right? yuck, yuck, yuck". The right will be working overtime to getting morons like him to the voting booth in November.

Obama should nip this in the bud as soon as he gets the nomination. Make a major speech, anticipate the coming onslaught of idiotic innuendo and take the wind out of their sails.

Are you trying to be funny or are you just an idiot? The point of the Faux story is to imply the Obama is Muslim...the same reason Republicans mention his middle name with such gusto. It's to confuse the stupid. it's not hard to confuse the Faux viewers, it's kind of like teasing a dog.

This is stupid. Of course different organizations, including terrorist orgs, have political preferences - that's to be expected. But to argue that the Dems are the party of Al Qaeda is just dumb and dangerous.

RHM's Blog

No kidding. Dubya is Bin Laden's biggest fan.

we all know that murdock and coulter support hillary. where is the surprise?

I think this is another example of American hubris. We think that the world hangs on our every action. They don't give two shits for the most part. The only way they'd care is if a candidate was out stumping for the destruction of Israel and the full withdrawl of all Western troops from any Arab land. Otherwise they don't care.

It's kind of like asking me which Republican candidate I would prefer. The answer is, "I don't give a shit." Until they advocate the destruction of their own party, along with the propagandists who perpetuate their lies, I couldn't care less. In the meantime, I'll just continue to hate them.

Bin Laden is joining Karl Rove at FauxNews??

Bin Laden wants McCain to win WH. He needs his boogey man to keep rethugs scared into submission.

Of course, if Bush had actually focused on catching Osama, instead of repeatedly letting him get away, providing funding to those who hide him, proclaiming he's no longer interested in catching him, and instead wasting the blood of our troops in Iraq, then we could actually ask Osama ourselves. Or he would be dead and it wouldn't matter.

What massive dissonant cognizance is it for Faux Noise to drag the spector of Osama up at times like this and leave off the Bush misAdministrations repeated declarations that Osama no longer matters, that he has been marginalized? That killing thousands can be dismissed as if it is nothing?

Either Osama matters or he doesn't. Faux's Almighty Bush says he doesn't, so why does it matter who he likes?

No, I'm neither trying to be funny, nor am I stupid. The implication that Obama might be Muslim was drawn by Logan Murphy. It did not appear in the Fox poll question. You can argue that something sinister is implied by including the question itself in the poll, and I would agree with you. I would not however, suggest you were an idiot if you disagreed with me.

Did they actually poll Usama? Why is he not dead yet?

Ha Ha. Bush's 2 key "enablers" side by side.

As insane as this is, Obama and team need to make issues out of things like this... we can't let this take root, w/o Fox and others being on teh defensive... no one would care who Bin Laden wanted to win IF Bin Laden were captured or killed!!! and the central failure of this administration to "hunt him down and kill him" allows them to use this trash for political gain!?

I suppose Bush got that information from bin Laden to pass on to Farce news after kissing and holding hands with the royal prince in Saudi Arabia.
Oh Yeah, my cat hopes Obama wins to. He speaks for the coalition of household pets. But I heard the Obama people slipped him a can of tuna.

Well since the Bush admins foreign policy has been Bin Ladens indispensable ally for the last 7 years i would think he'll be rooting for McCainiac, a McCainiac win assures al qeada recruitment keeps increasing.

Typical tactics, and to be expected. Earlier this year, the Republican Party gave a set of talking points that could be used against Barack Obama in the general election. I heard them mention inexperience, being too liberal, but let's put our cards out on the table. These are the real Republican talking points against Barack Obama, totally devoid of policy debates, but high on the normal Republican childishness (I am going to be blunt):

He is black.
He is a Muslim.
His middle name is Hussein]
He is an "Affirmative Action" candidate.
He went to Harvard.
He is the "most liberal" Senator.
He is a crack addict.
He is a closet homosexual.
He is black.
He is the anti-christ (ending term in 2012, etc).
He is a sleeper Muslim agent.
He wants to steal your wife/daughter.
His wife is an "elitist b*tch who hates America".
His mother is a "whore".
He is black.

Some of these are blatantly made up, and rely only on the feeding of suspicion, but it's better to get them out in the open so that Barack Obama can deal with them effectively. This candidate has the support of independents, moderate Republicans, and Democrats, so these attempts to hint at this innuendo can end up backfiring in the right-wing echo chambers face so long as Obama keeps the high road and responds effectively to them. Fortunately for us, we know he will. Fortunately for us, he is supported by us. Fortunately for us, the desire for real change and progress will get past the tired and old fear-mongering.

But it's important to get it out there now so that these childish attacks will be neutralized. For some who rely on this, it will be past due to save their rational minds, but for the rest of America, we have popular support with us. Republicans will play hard ball, let's not fight fire with fire, but fire with well-placed and precision-scoped kill-shots.

Gee, if they can locate Osama Bin Laden long enough to find out who he wants to be the next President of the United States, maybe they should try to, like, arrest him or something? Just a suggestion.

My response, if asked that question would be "how the fuck should I know". But leave it to your average nose-picking, farting Fox viewer to actually answer a pathetically stupid question like that.

gene214 @ 28:

Hey, it was easy for faux news to find Osama. He's selling used cars in Florida.

more absurd hyperbole from the commentary channel. Same old BS to rile up the GOP base. The worst part is, some of them believe it.

Boorring @ 27:

but high on the normal Republican childishness (I am going to be blunt):

We need to emphasize how infantile these attacks are. How immature. How unAmerican.

I've just made a similar point on DKos regarding an incredibly offensive Mike Lester cartoon. I'll adapt for Fox News:

This kind of racist, fear filled screed is meant to take purchase in the ignorant. You can classify three depths of ignorance. The first level is adult ignorance, or the simple lack of knowledge. You can correct an adult's ignorance by simply informing them of the location of the true facts of a matter. They will politely thank you, become informed, and go on their way.

The second level is adolescent ignorance. An adolescent level of ignorance takes some coaxing to overcome. You may have to appeal to ego. You may have to say, "I know you're a smart guy, but you're wrong about this." Eventually the adolescent ignorant can be made to understand. It's with great difficulty.

The final level, the Fox News level, is infantile ignorance. An infantile ignorant becomes a red-faced screaming maniac upon having his views of the world questioned. Any effort to come to consensus or agreement is fought viciously, spittle flying. An infantile ignorant is a knuckle-dragging throwback in most cases. And the most horrid thing about infantile ignorance is how proud they are of their ignorance. Like an infant, they make a gigantic sloppy, yellowish mess of shit in their pants and walk around showing it off to people. Even an infant has an excuse, though. An adult displaying infantile ignorance is literally like a grown man who has shit his pants and is bragging about the strength of the scent. Ordinary and decent people are hideously embarrassed and often at a loss as to what to do. You can't strap one of these people down and change their diaper. They'll start flinging their shit at you and cackling.

It's my contention that in the last few years the extreme hard right has by necessity become composed of these infantile ignorants, these people who turn crybaby red at the slightest hint of disagreement or sign that they might not have their way. They smear their poo everywhere they go and are incessant in their demands to be acknowledged as the most important people in the room.

That's Fox News. A gaping asshole pumping hideous, diseased adult shit into their pants, screaming with red-faced infantile rage, and making the entire human race look bad. What a fucking embarrassment. Fox News makes me wonder if America can make it. They make me cringe that they and I might be identified as members of the same species let alone the same nation.

L0L............too true.

So, popular vote majority doesn't matter, but we're supposed to take into consideration the opinion of a guy hiding on the other side of the world when choosing our next president?? Do they really think he cares?
I hate fox news.

he wants to see mccain take the big prize...the prospect for 100 years of blood and despair is intriguing to both men...with nuclear confrontation a lurking temptation.nevermind that you and i won't have time for it-with the TOP-DOWN philosophy, our priorities won't matter to either.

In fact, Democrats will begin to have doubts and join in on the smear.

Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid will bring a resolution to the floor of House and Senate to proclaim that Obama must withdraw from the Democratic Nomination because John McCain in the better candidate and one preferred by the American people.

Senator Durbin will come onto the Senate floor and give a blubbering apology as he crys explaining that he is sorry to the American people for the Democrats nominating Osama Obama.

Nancy and Harry will cite a Fox News Poll and a Republican Press Release as their reasoning for their decision.

Their decision will be finally and any further discussion "off the table".

Farce News needs the lunatic fringe cause that's their audience. Obama knew going into this that the shit would get thick out there, he's scared the bejesus out of knuckle draggers. It's only a matter of time before they find some white woman to accuse him of some impropriety. For now Bin Laden the boogey man will have to do. Hell, he's probably dead in a cave somewhere but if that were known the Bush cabal would have to pump up some other obscure "terrorist". Maybe Fox could have a new show, Americas Next Islamofacist Boogeyman.

The Grand Recession that's about to hit us. So far none of these things have had a unifying, material impact on Americans. The Bushbots have been able to selectively peel off segments of the population from one another and keep us divided with insignificant differences. But they've set affairs into motion over which they have decreasing degrees of control. And the fact that Senator Obama has been able to unite so many people across so many of the Republican-defined divisions speaks to this. We share a peril. We recognize it.

There was a guy on Fox this morning, and as he was leaving asked the host if he could ask a question. On live TV he says something along the lines of "what kind of sorry network is this? Just a parade of propaganda. 1,000,000 people have died in Iraq" It was classic.

Fox News like all the networks is heavily influenced by out side money. Especially Fox News, Murdock, is influenced by Arab Petro-dollars.

This money connection with the Arabs is the problem. Along with Bush and Company tied to the American Treasury, banking system, health-care industry, stock market, pension plans, real-estate, energy, and a huge military industrial complex, the war not just in Iraq, but others, trillions of dollars funneled to the well connected accounts now teetering on this election.

Ladies and Gentlemen of America Mainstream Media is doing what it has to maintain power for the few. Sheesh across the board they all are complicit to the corruption that has been confusing America. Please those entire first line journalists are tied together. My God when I found out Andrea Mitchell is married to Allen Greenspan knowing and privy to huge trillion dollar money deals yet is a political commentator, Sheesh. Its likely Chris Matthews or Joe “Scarborg” could tell you where Sean Hannity’s or Limbaugh’s car is parked right now. LOL.

As far as election results, take a hard look America. How in the world can a news medium get those exact statistics, so immediate, for white, black, blue collar working class, age groups, demographics to detail and precise in a “secret ballot system”. Without being corrupt and well connected. Or, I have a box of rocks to sell you very cheap.

Torture, elimination of habeus corpus, tapping phone and email conversations of every American are now the law of the land of America. No one is in the streets.

What would be any different?

The Grand Recession that's about to hit us. So far none of these things have had a unifying, material impact on Americans. The Bushbots have been able to selectively peel off segments of the population from one another and keep us divided with insignificant differences. But they've set affairs into motion over which they have decreasing degrees of control. And the fact that Senator Obama has been able to unite so many people across so many of the Republican-defined divisions speaks to this. We share a peril. We recognize it.

I sincerely hope your words are prophetic.

The tipping point was reached several years ago, a turn around if attempted would take at least a half century to do. During that time we will have President John McCain, President Mitt Romney, President Mike Huckabee, President Lynne Cheney.

All we can do now is adapt to it.

After six and a half years of the Bush administration NOT getting Bin Laden, I can't believe the right wing has the gall to bring him up at all. What shameless pricks! No one even asks Bush "Where is Bin Laden?". After all the promises after 9/11 and all the lives and money wasted in Iraq; where is Bin Laden? This is a very serious question that deserves some real attention. This should be a question posed to Bush (and those who still think he is a great president) every day and it should be an issue in the upcoming elections. Republicans are so shameless in their use of terror against us. Using the fear of attacks for political gain knowing that normally citizens wouldn't support their polices. Again, I just can't believe that Bush and his cronies have the nerve to bring up Bin Laden at all and that they never get called out on it. I bet though that if a Democrat becomes the next president, the Republicans will erect a giant "Days without finding Bin Laden" clock starting on the first day of the new administration. These people are that shitty.

Boorring @ 27:

Don't forget:

He's black.
Raised by a single mother.
He's black.

And oh yeah, for our blind Rethug friends,

He's black.

It's going to be a long f*cking year and I am so sick of hearing about the BS on TV news I could scream. I try not to watch it at all but I shudder at the numbers of people who not only WATCH it but are swayed by it. What can we do?

Are you trying to be funny or are you just an idiot? The point of the Faux story is to imply the Obama is Muslim...the same reason Republicans mention his middle name with such gusto. It's to confuse the stupid. it's not hard to confuse the Faux viewers, it's kind of like teasing a dog.

Never implied it becuase you disagreed with me, just that you missed the point of the Faux BS, which is like missing the ground when skydiving.

This would apply to anyone who takes their personal beliefs to an extreme, regardless of whether they've been overly steeped in politics, religion or both.

Here's what I'm reading now:

The True Story of the Bilderberg Group
By Daniel Estulin

"Delving into a world once shrouded in complete mystery and impenetrable security, this investigative report provides a fascinating account of the annual meetings of the world’s most powerful people—the Bilderberg Group. Since its inception in 1954 at the Bilderberg Hotel in the small Dutch town of Oosterbeek, the Bilderberg Group has been comprised of European prime ministers, American presidents, and the wealthiest CEOs of the world, all coming together to discuss the economic and political future of humanity. The press has never been allowed to attend, nor have statements ever been released on the attendees' conclusions or discussions, which have ramifications on the citizens of the world. Using methods that resemble the spy tactics of the Cold War—and in several instances putting his own life on the line—the author did what no one else has managed to achieve: he learned what was being said behind the closed doors of the opulent hotels and has made it available to the public for the first time."

Seeing how good things have gone for him with a Republican in the White house, I'm guessing he wants another Republican.

Obama would probably sit down for tea with Osama. A bit of cordial conversation, a few cokkies, a sip of tea and obama would be vacationing at Disney World, a changed terrorist.

Who cares what bin Laden thinks of any candidate? He probably is not thinking at all these days. As Benazir Bhutto said in November to the BBC, bin Laden is dead. But of course, that interview was never aired or reported here, because it is more worthwhile to fan the flames of fear that to tell the American people what the truth might be and have them decide on a candidate that doesn't rely on fear to govern.

There's absolutely no doubt that OBL wants another Republican to continue the 100 year war in Iraq, in the same way he wanted Bush to win over Kerry, which is obviously why he came out with that video. He knew how to play on American fear, and by golly it worked. He played us like a fiddle. Americans cowered behind Bush, "oh, please President Bush, do anything to protect us-torture, spy on us, ignore international treaties, we don't care". Are we really that cowardly? Fox believes we are. Perhaps they're right. I can't imagine a better means of recruitment than war on Muslim soil with loss of thousands of innocent Muslim lives. Right wingers are just too stupid to appreciate the reverse psychology of those who masterminded 9/11, and have yet to be held accountable. Bush's Iraq war has worked out quite well for the Al Qaeda. While Bush took his eye off the ball by diverting and squandering our resources in Iraq, they've been resurging in Afghanistan and northern Pakistan. Indeed, it's worked out quite well for them. Fox News is just beyond the pale in terms of just how low they'll stoop with their propaganda, and then try to claim they're a legitimate news network. Unbelievable. I guess what's sadder is the mentality of those who watch Fox News. What a bunch of mindless freaks, not to mention spineless cowards.

Now from a recruiting standpoint and not claiming to have the same mindset as Osama, I would have to think that the candidate who wants a hundred more years of war in Iraq, a prime recruiting spot for Osama, would probably be the top pick.

Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid have proposed a resolution to the House and Senate that if Barack Obama should be nominated as the Democratic Party Nominee for President that he officially change his name to Barry William Smith.

Pelosi explains that it is just too hard to overcome the misuse of Barack's name by the Republicans.

So far all Democrats are on board with the resolution, however the Republican minority is holding up the passage of it. Reid is hoping to convince Joe Lieberman to vote for the resolution.

You guys allow your corporations to rule you. Burn the buidling to the ground.

To the ground. And find other business while are ripping apart your communities and burn them aswell. Allow only those that serve your interests.

Bulldozers are cheap to rent.

get ready you OBAMA folks for a crash course in american hysterics 101. the republicans are about to detroy this guy. i am not surprised at all. i was not crazy about hillary and actually thought to unite the party unite the ticket to hillary/OBAMA. gives him time to get up to speed, and hilliary to turn things around ASAP. she would have also been able to weather their attacks. people also would have flet better with OBAMA on the team. he is inspirational but too vulnerable to destroy. they were both a stronger team together that i believe could withstand whatever the GOP threw at them. i am not into emotional decisions but winning the presidency to turn this mess around. the republicans have done what i call divide and conquer. you OBAMA folks are too emotional and naive for me.

The only one here that sounds hysterical is you.

CoIntelPro @ 15:

we all know that murdock and coulter support hillary. where is the surprise?

They support Hillary because they know, based on poll after poll, that should Hillary become the nominee, McCain stands a better chance at beating her and winning the election. It's about electability and they know it. It's shameful, to say the least.

Breaking ...

BREAKING...
It has been disclosed by unnamed sources, that Democratic Presidential hopeful, Barry William Smith, was at one time named Barack Hussein Obama.

Do future events that have not yet happened naturally come to you or do you use a crystal ball or other means to provide your psychic predictions? It is amusing to see someone call others "too emotional and naive," as the very same person is ranting about things that haven't even happened.

No i am asking you to vote based on the reality of the outcome of the emotions of voters in this country. take your emotions out of this and make the decsion to win the election. if you do not realize that knowing what opposition research exists on your candidate helps win the game then you are not as strategic in your thinking you are trying to present here. hilliary's weak points are not as easy to destoy the candidate as OBAMA is. the republicans play dirty and not fair. all i am saying is in my opinion he will be very easy to destroy. too dam easy in my opinion. if i can see where the fabric will fall apart or that he has blaring vulnerability i know darn well the GOP attack machine has identified it and soo much more.

You are accusing people of voting on emotion. Isn’t that exactly what you are doing? You suggest that we vote based on the fear that Obama can’t defend himself from these foolish words. You suggest that Clinton is the ’stronger’ candidate because at least all of her skeletons are already exposed.

And the GOP insurgency begins (with posts like Michelle's).

O-kay, consider it done. Everyone please make a note and mark your calendars accordingly.

I tried to vote for Mickey Mouse but that stupid online survey wouldn't let me make a write in choice.

i am not ranting at all. i do not appreciate you saying i am. people are going to vote with the thought of our national security as an issue. if you do not think as democrats we should not be prepared for what an attack can do to our presidential candidate and this election then shame on you for not being strategic. this is something that any democrat running should be fully prepared for. you think it ranting and raving to think about how an attack could effect our election? get real...the FBI/CIA/NRO/NSA our all preparing for just that type of possibility. see this is the kind of BS i am talking about. it is you that is being naive and idealistic. we need to have a solid plan for winning the election with any scenario playing out. you don't prepare after it has happened but you have a winning startegy for all possible outcomes in place to win.

ashton,
you can be as patronizing as you wish. this is another reason why many democrats will not vote for OBAMA. your arrogance is amazing to me and such a turn off of OBAMA.

The people in control don't keep the vast majority of us struggling to survive just because they enjoy the wealth we create for them. They keep us struggling so we don't have the time to remove them from power.

That's it in a nutshell. That and the dumbing down of America helps them keep the masses under control.

Clearly, this has been a major factor in the Primary Elections. Thank you for pointing it out and so elegantly explaining why he has lost the last 10 Primary Elections. I was not aware that I played a role, but now I know better.

Here's a Poll:

Would you prefer Fox News...

A. to become bancrupt due to boycotts?

B. Found guilty of plotting to destroy democracy and dismantled?

C. Found drowned in that bathtub they have been trying to kill democracy in?

D. On rye with mustard.

What Democracy?????

well just as i tried to explain to so many why voting george bush in offin in 1998-1999 for the election in 2000 was a big mistake and was told...how much damage can one man do, i guess i will watch another 4 years go down the tubes with the republicans in office destroying our country even more. i guess i will just make as much money as i can so i can afford to weather the economic storm.

again, amazing arrogance. if you do not think OBAMA will need hillary's supporters then keep talking shyte.

The Fox News Network represents the worst source of news information this nation has to offer. How could any fair minded person stand this bullshit?

There are way more fux viewers than you'd be comfortable knowing about. I asked one id10t to turn down a television in the lounge at work because it was too loud and he thought I was mad because it was fux. I shrugged my shoulders and told him it was too loud, that's all. These guys are prehistoric, viscerally, point-and-shoot pissed at anything fux tell them to be pissed off about.

"These guys are prehistoric, viscerally, point-and-shoot pissed at anything fux tell them to be pissed off about."

This describes a typical American now.

This is the American majority.

The tipping point was reached several years ago, a turn around if attempted would take at least a half century to do. During that time we will have President John McCain, President Mitt Romney, President Mike Huckabee, President Lynne Cheney.

All we can do now is adapt to it.

What utter and total bullshit. If you feel like tossing in the towel and giving up, go do so quietly somewhere. This is NOT a typical American. And neither Romney or Huckabbe will EVER be President of the USA. Ever.
