Here at Crooks and Liars, we honor the worst of the worst with our lifetime achievement award. In the ten years of this publication, the winner was an easy pick, as you will soon see. However, the folks at the both-sides-do-it academy of crap and garbage, a.k.a. Fox News, have to counter reality with a fake "awards show."

Elisabeth Hasselbeck and former Cosmo Centerfold /monotone host at Faux, Scott Brown, asked a reporter from the Daily Signal who she thought was the worst of the worst in 2014.

In case you're unsure of what the Daily Signal actually is, it's the multimedia news organization of the Heritage Foundation, who is incredibly close to their friends at the good ol' John Birch Society. These are the "Agenda 21, FEMA Camps," tin-foil hat-wearing contingent of the racist organization. Of course their opinion is sought on Fox News!

So Genevieve, the 'reporter' from the Daily Signal, came right out and said the worst reporting was from Jeff Zucker, behind the scenes at CNN, who ignored Benghazi! (GASP!!) The Fox and Signal crew claimed that if they (the dreaded MSM) actually looked into it, they'd find a lot more than they did. All us residents of Rationalville and the fact-based world know what this Benghazi hysteria has unearthed. Not one shred of proof of intentional misconduct or wrongdoing on the part of the Obama Administration and then-Secretary of State Hillary Clinton. So let's move on to her next assertion.

Scott Pelley of CBS was the next target of their faux outrage. His award was for the reporting that Obamacare wasn't killing jobs. Unfortunately for Scott, he used REAL FACTUAL DATA and on Fox News, that's not allowed. The CBO report he was referencing makes it possible for people to give up dead end jobs they are keeping just for the insurance, giving Americans more option for their work choices. The truth is, Obamacare will kill jobs in the same way that Social Security kills jobs. By making it easier for people in certain circumstances to get by without a job. But your mileage may vary on this. The point, however, is that we're talking about people quitting not about people getting fired. But the subtleties of the law fly over the heads of those invested in folly.

The next "award" was entitled the "Classless Award" because who better to decide this than the station that puts Donald Trump on a pedestal. The recipient of this Faux title: CNN's Carol Costello for laughing at the audio of a drunk Bristol Palin at the Palin Family Brawl Spectacular. Carol was laughing as it's the best audio she's come across in a long time, replete with C words and F bombs. The outrage is way over the top at this comedy gold kerfuffle -- as our readers know, this was just plain hysterical, no two ways about it.

Finally, the next person on their radar was Politico's Roger Simon for this "twisted" tweet.

politico
Roger Simon's "twisted tweet"
How dare he make fun of Rick Perry's valiant efforts to "secure the border." Wood, Hasselbeck and Brown all note that Perry was doing the work the Obama Administration refused to do, because who better to stop child immigrants than Rick Perry and Sean Hannity in a photo op on a boat? I can't name anyone more qualified. Can you?
