The Trump talking point of the day must be the Orwellian comparison of Republican party rules to the truly horrible Jim Crow laws of earlier days.

Ben Carson led off the pack this morning with his ridiculous comparison. I guess a Black man saying so gives it more punch?

Then Alex Jones chimed in with his own comments, taking it up a notch by saying the RNC rules "make Jim Crow look like a blessing."

Oh, please give me a small break in the incessant whining for a billionaire who is not just a bigot, but a fascist, too. This goes beyond the ridiculous right into the absurd.

Maybe it would be good for these guys to actually read about how horribly destructive Jim Crow laws were before using the comparison. And for good measure, it might be worth remembering white people voted for Trump in Louisiana. Not Black people.
