Gretchen Carlson Slams O'Reilly: ‘Nobody Pays $32M For False Allegations – Nobody’

The former Fox News host effectively destroys Bill O'Reilly's claims of innocence, garnering 70k 'likes' so far on Twitter. It must be deeply satisfying for Carlson to turn the tables on the fetid swamp that is Fox News.

Gretchen Carlson has recently begun rebranding herself as an advocate for better, safer workplaces, and has a new book out that the fine people at Fox News will no doubt ignore.

Be Fierce: Stop Harassment and Take Your Power Back

Former Fox News host Gretchen Carlson hit out at her onetime colleague at the right-leaning cable network, Bill O'Reilly, after it was learned on Saturday that he paid a whopping $32million to settle a sexual harassment claim.

'Nobody pays $32m for false allegations - nobody,' Carlson tweeted on Saturday.
Her tweet was a response to a statement posted by O'Reilly in which he accuses The New York Times of smearing him.

In a later tweet, Carlson once again rebukes O'Reilly after the disgraced former host tweeted: 'My investigative team has done a superb job in exposing the lies and smear. I will speak with you on Monday.'

Carlson replied: 'No need to wait for Monday. Another right wing conspiracy? Women are getting brave.'

O'Reilly will present this letter as "evidence" he did no wrongdoing. Fox will put him on the air, and the idiots who watch the farce will nod in agreement with everything he says.

Gretchen Carlson is appalled that Fox News would do this (but didn't she work there for a decade?). Regardless, she's likely to be a thorn in their side for years to come.
