Twitter Catches Fox News Pushing Shiny Things As Manafort Goes Down
THIS MORNING ON FOX AND FRIENDS.

Yes, Fox News did "cover" the Manafort indictment. And as John Amato pointed out earlier today, they also took the position that the story isn't about Manafort or George Papadopoulos or any other Trump Team legal issues, it's about leaking that there were indictments coming out.

(Notice there were zero leaks about who was being indicted. Nice try, Fox News, it's clear the leaker was actually frying this White House on a cast iron skillet for a weekend to get them nervous....possibly with the blessing of the Grand Jury.)

In the meantime, Fox trotted out any number of shiny objects to distract their viewers from actual news. And boy did Twitter notice:
