CNN's Jake Tapper now knows what it's like to be Breitarted and it's no fun. When Andrew Breitbart was still with us, he began making his bones by heavily editing a clip of Shirley Sherrod and smearing her with it. And they haven't stopped since.

On Halloween, right wing idiots from Breitbart and The Daily Caller did almost the same thing to CNN's Jake Tapper and he didn't stand for it.

On Sunday, Fox News' Howard Kurtz told his viewers on Media Buzz, that Tapper was right to feel attacked.

Kurtz said, "CNN anchor Jake Tapper has accused Fox News of lying about something he said soon after the New York terror attack."

Chaffetz, "Jake Tapper also from CNN felt the need to remind viewers how beautiful the phrase "allahu akbar" can be."

JAKE TAPPER, "The Arabic chant "allahu akbar," God is great -- sometimes said under the most beautiful circumstances and too often we hear it being said in moments like this."

Kurtz said, "Tapper has a point about context. It wasn't technically a lie since the clip was aired but online, Fox News insider ran only a partial quote in a headline labeling his comment as outrageous."

He continued, " When Tapper was simply suggesting the use of "allahu akbar," God is great, was being perverted by terrorists. Fox has deleted a tweet promoting that article and "The Daily Caller has run a grudging correction."

Even though Fox ran the clip, Chaffetz was still an a-hole.

Kurtz could have done a whole segment on this smear, but I imagine he wasn't allotted the time. At least something is better than nothing. This must be their way of correcting the record. It's lame, but at least it's something.
