In the glare of the national spotlight on their convention, Republicans just can't seem to stop spewing racist garbarge this week. In the above segment on NPR about Mitt Romney's speech at the American Legion Convention, you'll hear a speaker ranting about "massive influx of illegal immigrants" (even though illegal immigration has collapsed under Obama), and then this lovely sentiment from a certain Bobbi Lussier from Mannassas, Virginia.

LUSSIER: I just don't like him. Can't stand to look at him. I don't like his wife, she's far from the First Lady. It's about time we get a First Lady in there who acts like a First Lady and looks like a First Lady.

Because us Real 'Merkuns know what a First Lady looks like, amirite? Everyone knows a First Lady should be a white woman.

Truly awful people.
