We will his ghost running around for quite awhile.

Who better to comment on being an a**hole?

What's that suck-up want now? Hasn't he already blown all of his last chances?

Woodward also could have said that Bush's (and probably Palin's) outlook on the US-Iran relationship is a black-and-white, simplistic case of good versus evil.

From the Douche who helped get Bu$h re/selected ....

but...didn't the stock market crash today?

no its an Unplanned Downward Readjustment...

Ok

thanks for clarifying...I'm not so panicked anymore.

Now I can focus on more important things...like BlinkyDink and the Incredible Aging Candidate.

...but you may want to empty out your bank accounts just in case ...

You mean the one that's overdrawn to the hilt?

We may not have bush, but we will have his stench for a long time to come.

If McCain is allowed to move into the oval office, he might actually make the years of bush look better and not in a good way.

I was glad that Maher asked Woodward how it was that Bush and company tell Woodward so many secrets. Why do all of these high officials tell Woodward so much sensitive information? Especially after what he did to their role model Nixon. I don't trust journalists who learn critical secrets and then sit on them for a year so they can write a book.

Woodward is not to be trusted.

before their stars started to decline, whereby now he can get well 'attacking' the same folks whose prostates has for the last 7 years been so slavishly tongue-laving...

We--the country and the People of the USofA--will NEVER exhaust the Busheviks' legacies of violence (to us, our Constitution and the rest of the world), corruption (endless), and dishonor.

Nobody--and certainly no anointed avatar of the Bidness-as-Ushul bunch, like either McC(umst)ain or the Mocha Messiah--will ever approach the task. Everything the Busheviks have done has worked out remarkably well for the constituencies which matter: Speculators, war-profiteers, and Israel...

I guess mccan't is taking off the gloves just in time for tomorrow's debate: he used the 'L' word (liar) referencing obama's describing mccain as opposing regulation. the danger is the he drags obama into the gutter with him. i think o is too smart for that.

Heh

By the end of the debate, Obama will have slapped the age spots off that wrinkled up old loser.

All the GOP has left is screaming about "white flags of surrender" and lying about taxes.

The economy is blowing chunks right now, and it ain't comin' back before Novemeber.

LOL. George Bush ended up just like his old man. He's gonna leave the country with a wrecked economy and handed the Democrats the White House, just like his old man did.

W should be in jail. He should be the first ex-US president to be thrown in jail, and he should be made to bunk with the first ex-US Vice-President

Obama chooses his battles wisely. I heard that part of McCain's speech where he said Obama called him a liar. I haven't heard Obama say that, but if he did, he had plenty of reasons.

Tomorrow night's debate is a town hall style debate. McCain is used to having the audience all to himself in such appearances. He might not be the darling of this one. Hopefully McCain will be so desperate that he will come unglued and make a total ass of himself.

Senator Biden's mother in law passed away this weekend. Has anyone heard McCain or Palin make reference to that or express their sympathy publicly?

I wonder how all of this shit slinging will play out in tomorrow's debate. Obama should be fairly riled up by now, but will be composed and strong tomorrow night. McGramps may have a stroke right on stage.

If you thought the eye contact thing was an issue at the first debate, just wait.

The same could be said for the Republican Party. What's the strategy to oust them from power? They're a bunch of a**holes...

I am tired of his self serving sharing of secrets and his treasonous keeping of secrets (until he has another book to sell). I thought he did a good thing with Watergate but I am not so sure anymore, he probably stole that from Bernstein too.

well, Woody's a Republican. What do you expect?

yet... we are still stuck with woodward.

That's ass-holier than thou.
)O(

Olier maybe.

Yip

They sure are

"Our enemies are innovative and resourceful, and so are we. They never stop thinking about new ways to harm our country and our people, and neither do we."

-- George W. Bush (August 5, 2004)

And yet everyone thinks Shrub is lazy...

I notice this time Woodward CLEARLY said his deep inside sources said the reduction in violence we're seeing in Iraq today "was NOT (because of) the surge".

But on Bill O'Reilly's show a few weeks ago he allowed O'Reilly to stipulate at the top of the interview that "the surge worked" without objection.

Woodward has obviously figured out one way to sell books to an O'Reilly audience and another way to sell books to a Maher audience.

Sad, really.

I wish he'd stick to saying in ALL interviews on ALL networks what he actually discovered from his deep inside sources and wrote in his book...which is a lot closer to what he told Bill Maher and his audience than to Bill O'Reilly and his audience.

(This Woodward story is old news. I saw this a couple of times on different days last week. I'm not sure why we are supposed to be shocked that Bush called the Iranians assholes. Yawn.)

have to do to save their cushy, sinecure gigs?

We're all trying to post to that thread and it doesn't seem to be working properly.

Maybe it's McKeating's personal gremlins?

.....and the gift that keeps on giving....and giving....and giving.

Looks like Mr. McCain is lawyering up just in time. I hear there are plenty of whistleblowers ready to throw McCain under the bus on this one.

Is anyone else noticing that you can't comment on the Keating video?

Thanks! (I emailed the main addy already).

www.keatingeconomics.com is today's "Most popular site" on the internet so many want to comment. Please get this thread up and running for us ASAP.

I just emailed the site team too. I hadn't read your comment before I notified them. Probably one of the little hampsters fell asleep in his wheel.

The site is fixed now so you can comment on Keating 5 The comments work.

McCain will drown in his own dirt this week. There is no way in hell he's coming out of the Keating 5 Scandal REDUX unscathed and finished off.

I understand CNN just had Donald, Mr. Combover, Trump so obviously pimping for John McCain. Donald's credibility has never been worse or more tarnished than it is right now - particularly in light of his casino/gambling connections to McCain's Abramoff "Casino-Gate". I expect Trump will find himself embroiled somehow in this financial meltdown on Wall Street as well as in McCain's gambling ring.

It's no wonder he's "in the tank" for his gambling buddy and co-conspirator against the american people!~

I hope his Apprentice Show is planning to go off the air; if not, it will be put off the air by the american people

Donald Trump = McKeating's New Personal 'PIMP'

If we look closely enough, I'm certain that we can find some pretty unsavory, perhaps even criminal, connections between Donald The Combover and Mr. DeRegulator....and we probably wouldn't have to spend much time doing so.

At the very least, we now know that Combover's cred is shot since he's so willing a pimp. He needs to be ashamed of himself stammering over whether Palin's ready to be president.....it tanks his show and it's "apprentice" crebility into the toilet. Trump looks like a total pimp job who desperately needs a wig.

we might look back on the Bush years as halcyon days...

The Keating thread is accepting comments now.

CNN needs to be ashamed of itself having Donald Trump so obviously pimp for John McCain! Perhaps they're attempting to draw some obvious connections and conclusions? We know about McCain's "other gambling problem" - now all we need to do is connect Donald, Mr. Casino, to it all.

In the meantime, CNN's continued credibility loss continues when they have someone as unqualified and as much a co-conspirator with John McCain pimping for him so unabashedly on national television.

CNN: Shame on you!

bob woodward dureing his interview with bill moron er bill maher was very pixie like when maher asked woodward why the bush surge worked in iraq , what was the secret bob , well mr moron , said bob its a thing im not allowed to pass on to you or the american losers, mahers begged , whinned , pleaded with bob for the answer, i felt like crying for the douchbag who is supposed to know so much and yets never read the surge is only possible because the bush administration is paying off the war lords not to kill us, jesus bill buy a news paper it was in all the papers !spend a buck boy you might learn something,

yeah dipshit cheerleader bush was preoccupied thinking about how he wanted to {Deleted, SiteMonitor}

It's interesting that when Bush and Cheney were puissant and scary, Woodward's stellar reporting uncovered mostly flattering and hagiographic "facts".

Now that the ship is sinking and Bush is a lame duck, he's suddenly "discovered" what a bunch of fuckheads they've been all along.

...this guy doesn't look anything like Robert Redford!

isn't passing along classified info to someone without a security clearance a crime?

Woodward continues to rest on his laurels from the Nixon days. Since then he became a stenographer for the White House.

Come on this guy was a solid member of the MSM's group think team before the invasion of Iraq and on top of that Woodward went out during the Plame investigation and called the investigation "much ado about nothing" The Bush administration outed an CIA undercover agent, undermined National Security and Woodward knowing that he was one of the first journalist to know her identity and this guy went on National T.V. and undermined the investigation and Patrick Fitzgerald. He is trying to rewrite his own actions and history

I do not trust Woodward one bit. He is an opportunist and I would say just "follow the Money" should apply to how he makes his living with books about info that most of us have all ready heard.

Bill Maher kissing Woodwards ass is telling. Why not ask Woodward about his responsibility as a journalist and how he failed to do his job before the invasion. Bill Maher should have asked him why he undermined the Valerie Plame outing. Instead Maher kissed his ass and helped him sell his book. Creepy and oh so hypocritical.

I pray every night that MC Stupid will have a total meltdown and just lose it completely. Hes a prick. Ive struggled with just what he is and have decided on just plain PRICK. He reminds me of some pricks i have already passed on the road of life. Mc Prick

Sounds like a heckuva strategery to me.

We all know Bush is an asshole. But Woodward not telling us the real strategy of the surge is cowardly. It would put another nail in McIdiots ambition. If the surge had nothing to do with the success but some kind of covert action he should tell us now!!!! Also, he is completely wrong: Nixon was despicable but Bush is far worse. If I had my way Bush and all his toadies would be indicted for crimes against humanity and spend all the money and later years in prison

Woodward: "The times ahead will be tough, but at least we won't have George Bush as President."

Interesting, in my last scathing letter the WarPig, I closed it with "The only good thing about your Presidency is that it's now a matter of months instead years before the country is finally and blessedly rid you."
