ARTESIA, NM – Weekly World News exclusive: Michael Jackson has been spotted in a diner with Elvis!
At roughly 3am last night patrons at a diner outside Artesia, New Mexico, saw what was undeniably Michael Jackson dining with Elvis Presley. The two arrived just before 3 at The Sunshine Diner on 285.
Wait staff say that Elvis arrived first, quietly taking a booth near the window. Minutes later Michael Jackson entered the sleepy diner, strutting to the booth where Elvis was seated. Elvis could be seen rolling his eyes even behind his massive sunglasses.
The two quietly dined for just under an hour, attracting minimal attention from the other patrons. They ordered the pancake special (cherry) and an egg white omelet respectively. Jackson would pull his hat down over his face whenever anyone passed by, only attracting more attention, until a clearly annoyed Elvis made him stop.
The two appeared to be very happy to see each other and spoke pleasantly for the majority of their time in the small town diner. After a slice of sweet potato pie and a fruit cup the two began collecting their things, leaving a tip of 20%. Not everyone requesting Jackson funeral tickets did so because they are mourning Jackson. Some are doing it just to see if they win them; if they do, the winners will then sell the tickets on eBay. Why did Mexico's army help the victims of Katrina, when we couldn't. Where was Israel and the USA for Katrina, I know where Israel was, bombing children in Gaza, and USA was bombing Iraq. Personally, if I'm a catastrophe victim, I really don't give a happy rat's ass WHO shows up to help me, as long as they show up. And I'm not going to whine or refuse help from Mexico - or anyone else, for that matter. I'm not sure which is sadder, that the country that has been the go-to leader on disaster relief couldn't get its s*** together to help its own people after Katrina, or that we would whine that people who have benefited from our assistance in the past would be gracious enough to want to return the favor.
Israel has some of the best emergency response personnel in the world, along with some of the best anti-terrorism people. And they share what they've learned with their allies. I won't say I necessarily agree with Israeli political positions, but that doesn't mean I'm willing to cut off my nose to spite my own face.

I have been wondering that about Gov. Mark Sanford more than Palin, though. His actions seem much more along these DSM-IV lines, though unlike Senator Frist, I wouldn't want to diagnose via television.

Palin's actions seem much more along the lines of a political ignoramus who cannot weigh news about herself with any perspective. A blogger's photoshop (and I've done my share including the one above) is just as bad as rumors of a federal investigation.
She's just completely lacking any sense, and everytime she opens her mouth the stories about her get magnified rather than surpressed.

Drama Queens Don't Work!
The erratic drama queen strikes again. Her latest gem ... let's just break a little compact with the people of Alaska because it's hard work and I'm bad at it ... work.
Governing a state, even Alaska, means understanding a little something about sociology, culture, history, the mechanics of power, the constitution ... the list goes on. It also means getting up early and going to bed late to enact an agenda for the state. It means making a whole host of sacrifices for other people. Sarah is certainly not about other people. Her apparent lack of interest in the day to day grind and political nitty gritty is exceeded only by an appalling lack of intellectual curiosity and a singular incompetence.
For Sarah, life is all some bizarre American Idol competition. Well, get the hell off the stage lady ... your act has worn thin, really thin.
Dem's can only dream and hope that Palin goes out to help some Rethugs get elected, because they will be sure losers again.
