Jill Stanek posts photos, addresses of the two remaining late-term-abortion providers

Bill O'Reilly and the rest of the Fox talkers have been busy proclaiming their utter innocence in the assassination of Dr. George Tiller -- as well as the innocence of the anti-abortion groups that were harassing Tiller prior to his death. They've been adamant that only Scott Roeder, the assassin, bears any actual culpability.
Which may be why one of their former guests, Jill Stanek, has been busy playing the anti-abortion version of Radio Rwanda by posting pictures and addresses of the nation's only two remaining late-term abortion providers. Emily Douglas of RH Reality Check (via Jill at Feministe) has the details:
[S]ome anti-choice activists -- even now -- seem only too happy to aid and abet the crazy ones who will resort to violence. Or else why, three days after the assassination of a medical doctor who provides late-term abortions, did Jill Stanek post on her blog photographs of the clinic of Dr. LeRoy Carhart, another physician who provides late-term abortions and who has said he is willing to take over providing services at Dr. Tiller's clinic?
By way of introduction, Stanek writes, "Let's take a station break to view photos of Carhart's "nondescript building," taken in March 2009 on the day it reopened following refurbishment after a fire (NOT blamed on pro-lifers). It was almost immediately shut down because Carhart reopened without getting an occupancy permit, as I previously reported, and was running his electricity off a generator..." She and her readers just want "to take a look." Why? She wants to prove her point that it's a dingy building? Over Carhart's safety, and the safety of his staff and patients?
This is a woman that both Bill O'Reilly and Sean Hannity have featured on their Fox News programs as an ostensibly credible witness. Ellen at Newshounds pointed out last year after the Hannity appearance just how dubious a witness Stanek actually is.
Appropriately, The General has written to Stanek's pastor, suggesting a rifle-blessing ceremony.

I am afraid no one can be correct, or wrong for that matter.
So please, understand that the views I expressed in my replies to you... reflects just that my views.
My personal view is what I said: The major religions, without exception, have some very good and valid moral points. If the majority of the followers of said religions are "good." Then it follows that our reality would reflect, in the common case, those very good and valid aspects. I.e. there would be no war, no poor people, no hatred, no killings, no adultery, no theft, no usury, etc, etc, etc.
But that is not the case, at all. In fact, when something good happens... it makes the news 24/7 because... well, because it is the exception.
Now, that is where my logical mind starts to wonder. If there are just a few bad apples, then it simply does not follow that they would be able to overturn the immense momentum towards good that a majority of religious "good" people wold have imposed upon reality.
My opinion is that humans are flawed, and thus our social reality reflects those flaws. Religion is also another human creation, and as such... equally flawed. And the assumptions regarding the perennial benefit of the doubt assigned to it... mask its human reality. And thus excludes religion from being discussed fully, in its true context. And I don't like that a bit, since other human activities/aspects do not get such treatment.
We can never fully address something, if we make something "untouchable." If religion is indeed a good thing, it should be able to stand rigorous scrutiny. Don't you think?

I followed the links and only found that Stanek had posted pictures of the clinic. It's hardly "nondescript" as it has a large sign with quite large lettering which states "Abortion and Contraception Clinic of Nebraska" and its phone number. The AP article referenced that the clinic was in the Bellevue neighborhood of Omaha. I found no addresses (indeed, not even an accusation that addresses were published by Stanek) in any of the linked sources.
Unless there's something I'm not seeing in these links, the title of this post is highly misleading.

The reason capital punishment is wrong and revenge is wrong (wrong for the progression of our society; keeping in mind the goals of society are vague but basically revolve around living long, enriched and peaceful lives) is because it's legitimizes killing as a means to solve a problem. If our society wasn't so focused on killing and revenge in the first place, then Roeder or whatever his name is, probably wouldn't have murdered him in the first place. But it's our society that told Roeder it's alright to kill if you think it's justified. Once we get to the point where we understand killing solves very little and there's rarely any instance it's justified, then maybe we start progressing again.

The photograph of Dr. Warren Hern appears to be from an advertisement Dr. Hern himself prepared for his clinic which identifies it as being in Boulder. He has appeared twice on national television in the wake of Dr. Tiller's death and indentified himself as a colleague who provides the3 same services as Tiller. The appearances, on CNN and MSNBC, preceded the posting by Stanek and I have written comments about both his appearances here at C&L.
Update: If you do a Google search for Dr. Warren Hern the first listing is for his clinic which includes the picture used by Stanek and the street address of his clinic along with a link to map directions.
Abortion has divided the citizens of the USA for too long and a compromise is the answer to this problem. The solution is so simple that I can not believe it has not been proposed before. What we need is more sideways thinking on this solution. Here are some starting points:
Out law abortion.
Limit all women to only two babies. Then sterilization is mandatory. ( We all know that there are just too many darn people in this world.)
All babies must survive on their own with no medical help for a year. If God wants them he will have a chance to take them at this time. These babies count has your limit of two, remember God moves in strange ways.
Women would have the option to sell their first two babies to the highest bid on a open market. Just remember you can not have any more children. This way women who wanted an abortion at least get some kind of compensation. ( Babies must be sold in the USA).
No medical charges or child care cost for the first ten years. This could all be paid for with a national property tax on all churches. Believe me, this worth the stopping of abortion.
There is some give and take for both side in this and I think this is a good start. Now I admit, I only have a high school education. It’s my hope that others with a much better education may improve on these points and contribute their great ideas.

His alleged killer is a right wing nut who was arrested and imprisoned for being a dangerous right wing nut before FOX news ever went on the air.
Because FOX news commentators produced inflammatory stories about Dr. Tiller, many, including this site, imply FOX commentators are complicit in Dr. Tiller's murder.
Three days after the murder of Tiller an anti-
abortion activist, Jill Stanek, who has a website, posts information about activities of the two other doctors who, like Tiller, perform late term abortions.
Stanek, a nurse, previously appeared on FOX news concerning a bill before Congress on late term abortions to discuss her views and testimony on those bills.
C&L picks up an article based on Stanek's post, publishes a screen grab of Stanek with Sean Hannity from an earlier appearance, and runs a headline saying she has posted their pictures and addresses. The lead graph of the post talks about Bill O'Reilly FOX denying complicity in Tiller's death then says: "Which may be why one of their former guests, Jill Stanek, has been busy playing the anti-abortion version of Radio Rwanda by posting pictures and addresses of the nation's only two remaining late-term abortion providers."
Readers of C&L call Stanek a bitch. Others advocate publishing pictures of her children. Some advocate getting her address and number and harassing her. A debate over whether violence toward her is appropriate occurs.
Finally one commenter does post the address and phone number of Stanek.
Many of these comments are made after 9:36 PDT when a reader posting under the name Fiver, points out a simple flaw. Stanek did not publish anyone's address. About fifteen minutes later I point out similar facts that make Stanek's post seem a lot less sinister than "Radio Rwanda."
While the person who posted the information about Stanek is deleted,
nothing else in the post has changed as I write this.

He's trying to make Stank look innocent. All one needs to do is go to her website and do a little reading. she's just as bad if not worse than Hannity and O'Manson.
