Karl Rove has been pretending to be circumspect about the Obama stimulus plans, but last night on Sean Hannity's Fox program he cast the pretense aside and flat-out attacked the Obama stimulus.
He drew up his own whiteboard charts and claimed the budget was full of "phony stuff", concluding:
This is going to do long-term fiscal damage to the United States.
I'm not sure any member of the Bush administration should be making this kind of speculative charge. Especially considering that their budget-making in fact did inflict long-term fiscal damage.
